The Washington Nationals have signed the 17-year-old Dominican baseball player, an outfielder, the brother of San Diego Padres right fielder Juan Soto.
Elian Soto, a left-handed hitter who verbally agreed to join the Nationals last year, isn’t considered a premium international prospect but is still young enough to develop into one.
He reportedly agreed to a deal worth a $225,000 signing bonus and an additional $200,000 for a scholarship grant.
