Carlos Vives is living on the edge…
After teasing his new single and music video last week, the 55-year-old Colombian singer has released the official clip for “Al filo de tu amor.”
The video follows Vives’ journey through the bustling streets of a bitter cold New York, while he searches for the woman of his dreams, who has suddenly stopped answering his calls and disappeared.
“In this occasion I mention New York, and there’s a reason behind it,” Vives said about the song. “I have a special connection with that city and with a community that opened their doors and have loved us very much throughout the years… listen, New York, because I am singing to you.”
The pop/vallenato single follows his chart-topping hit “La bicicleta,” featuring fellow Colombian singer/songwriter Shakira.
“Al filo de tu amor” is the second single of Vives’ forthcoming studio album, titled Vives.
