It looks like Denise Vasi should be back on the small screen next year…
VH1 has officially picked up the network’s dramedy Single Ladies for a third season.
The 31-year-old half-Dominican, half-Puerto Rican actress joined the Single Ladies cast for its sophomore season, which will have its season finale on Monday, August 27 at 9:00 PM ET.
Vasi, who recently shared scenes with Dancing with the Stars finalist William Levy, joined the cast as a businesswoman named Raquel—a friend of one of the show’s original characters, Keisha, played by LisaRaye McCoy.
Single Ladies has been averaging 3.2 million total viewers during premieres plus first encores, up 10% from season one.
The series continues to be basic cable’s #1 ad-supported regularly scheduled scripted show among women 18-49 over the course of the summer.
Season 3 will to premiere later in 2013.
