Michelle Rodriguez is Furious…

Universal Pictures has officially announced the name for the latest installment in the studio’s hugely popular The Fast and The Furious street-racing feature franchise starring the Puerto Rican and Dominican American actress.

Furious 7 will be the official name for the latest film, which will get a live trailer-launch event on November 1 on Facebook commensurate with its fan base, which numbers more than 51.5 million fans there.

The event set for noon PT on November 1 will live stream simultaneously from Universal Studios in Los Angeles on the Fast and Furious Facebook page, and on the E! cable channel.

Fans will be able to submit questions for cast members on Facebook-owned Instagram if they post a video with the question and the #AskFurious7 search hashtag. Alternatively, they can leave questions in the comments section on the film’s Facebook page.

Furious 7, which is set to debut April 3, 2015, also stars Vin Diesel, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, and Jason Statham.

The film will be directed by James Wan from a script by Chris Morgan based on characters by Gary Scott Thompson.
