The 54-year-old half-Mexican American musician/guitarist and his Metallica band mates have released the trailer for their concert film S&M2, with the San Francisco Symphony.
S&M2 is the sequel to the band’s 1999 album and concert film S&M, and will be filmed at Chase Center in San Francisco this September.
The film will feature the first live arrangements of S&M songs in 20 years, as well as songs written and released since the original show.
Fans who can’t be there to see it live will have the opportunity to visit one of 3,000 movie theaters around the world to watch the concert film for one night only, on October 9. Tickets for the film are on sale now.
