Miguel is heading to the Great White North…

The 27-year-old half-Mexican American singer-songwriter will be making an appearance at the Osheaga Music Festival, which is taking place at Montreal’s Parc Jean-Drapeau this weekend, August 2-4.

Miguel

Miguel will join other acts like Mumford & Sons, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Vampire Weekend and Beck after original performer Frank Ocean pulled out.

Ocean’s cancellation came after he suffered a tear to one of his vocal cords. The rapper’s health issue has also forced him to cancel the rest of his Australian tour dates as well as his headlining set at Drake‘s annual music festival, OVO.

Miguel, who is nominated for a BET Award this year, most recently performed at the Young Hollywood Awards.

Gomez to Receive Two Young Hollywood Awards

Selena Gomez is officially Young Hollywood royalty…

The 21-year-old singer/actress, who could log her first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 charts this week, will receive two awards at this year’s Young Hollywood Awards.

Selena Gomez

The former Disney Channel star will receive the awards for fan favorite album and most anticipated tour.

These are Gomez’s first-ever Young Hollywood Awards.

But Gomez isn’t the only Latina star who’ll pick up a prize this year…

Bella Thorne is also set to pick up an award at this year’s event.

The 15-year-old half-Cuban American actress, who will be starring in the film Home Invasion, will receive the one to watch award.

The Young Hollywood Awards will be televised for the first time on the CW on August 1.
