3BallMTY will be bringing the band’s unique sound to Texas and California this April…

The acclaimed-seven city, invitation only music series, the lead up to the Billboard Latin Music Awards, kicks off April 2 and will feature live performances by 3BallMTY, as well as tropical superstar Tito El Bambino.

It’s the latest high-profile event for the group that earned nine prizes at the Billboard Mexican Music Awards.

As in years past, Billboard En Concierto was designed specifically with fans in mind. There is no cost for tickets, but fans can secure access to the shows by participating in promotions held by event sponsors and by tuning in to Telemundo stations and checking local station websites.

The initial Billboard En Concierto series in 2010 featured performances by Xtreme and Jencarlos Canela, while 2011 featured Mexican pop trio Camila. In 2012, Billboard En Concierto featured performances by Mexican trio Reik and diva Gloria Trevi.

This year’s series kicks off with four consecutive performances by 3BallMTY, beginning April 2 in Houston (House of Blues) followed by Dallas (House of Blues), Los Angeles (House of Blues) and San Francisco (The Fillmore). Tito El Bambino will close out the series with shows in Chicago (House of Blues), Miami (The Fillmore) and culminating Wednesday, April 10 in New York (Best Buy Theatre).

Trevi & Reik to Headline Billboard’s Latin Music Series

Call it a showcase of Mexican pop music… Gloria Trevi and Reik will be performing throughout the United States this spring.

The 44-year-old Mexican pop-rock singer/songwriter, known as the “Supreme Diva of Mexican Pop,” and the Mexican pop group will headline this year’s Billboard Latin Music Series.

Gloria Trevi

For the third consecutive year, Billboard will be hosting “Billboard En Concierto,” a series of concerts that feature performances by finalists to the Billboard Latin Music Awards. This year’s concert series, produced by Latin entertainment firm CMN, will feature four shows by Reik taking place April 3 at the House of Blues in Los Angeles; April 5 at New York’s Best Buy Theatre; April 7 at Houston’s Warehouse; and April 8 at the House of Blues in Dallas.

Trevi will kick off the second half of “Billboard En Concierto” April 10 at the Filmore in San Francsico and will go on to play at Chicago’s V-Live and Miami’s Filmore on April 12 and 14, respectively.

Jen Carlos Canela and XTreme launched the concert series in 2010, and the 2011 edition featured shows by chart-topping Mexican trio Camila.

Access to the “Billboard en Concierto” series is by invitation only, with fans asked to tune in to their local Telemundo station for giveaways or to participate in promotions. Fans can also visit billboardenconcierto.com to request invitations.

Both Reik and Trevi are finalists for the Billboard Latin Music Awards, which honor the most popular albums, songs and performers in Latin music, as determined by the actual sales, radio airplay and social media activity that informs Billboard’s weekly charts. The awards are the culmination of the Billboard Latin Music Conference, the largest gathering of Latin music professionals in the world, taking place April 24-26 in Miami.
