This week, video game company 2K released a first look at the 28-year-old Puerto Rican superstar in WWE 2K23, the newest installment of the WWE video game franchise.
From hitting the Royal Rumbleand WrestleMania rings in 2021 to becoming a virtual playable character, Bad Bunny is seen flaunting his wrestling skills in a new 40-second trailer.
This is the first time the artist has appeared in the game.
WWE 2K23 is the newest installment of the flagship WWE video game franchise developed by Visual Concepts.
It will be coming soon for PlayStation5 (PS5), PlayStation 4 (PS4™), Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
Amazon has ordered a new competition series Twin Love, hosted by the 39-year-old half-Mexican American WWE stars and twin sisters.
Amazon has greenlit the series from ITV Entertainment. It will air on Prime Video and in the U.S. and UK and premiere simultaneously on free streamer Freevee.
Twin Love is a social dating experiment that explores the love lives of identical twins. Ten sets of twins will be split up and placed into two houses of identical casts, where they’ll begin a unique and compelling search for love.
The series will discover if their inherent similarities extend to their romantic desires. When separated from their twin brothers and sisters—some for the first time ever—will they pursue the same identical partners? Or will their choices be dramatically different?
The series, which will launch this summer, is based on a Dutch format created by ITV Studios Netherlands; the latest format to come out of the country responsible for Big Brother, The Voice andThe Traitors.
“Twin Love is a social dating experience like no other, blending the specificity of being a twin—someone born, quite literally, with a biological soulmate—with the universality of being single and searching for lasting romantic love,” said Lauren Anderson, head of AVOD Original Content and Unscripted Programming, Amazon Studios.
Brie and Nikki, the former wrestling duo, have starred in a number of reality series including E!’s hit TotalDivas andTotal Bellas.
The 30-year-old Mexican American Twitch streamer has signed with Creative Artists Agency (CAA) for representation in all areas.
Castro is best known for his soccer-themed content including FIFA.
He averages 30,000 concurrent live viewers on the Amazon-owned platform and has over 3.5 million followers.
Castro is also active on YouTube and social media channels.
A sports enthusiast, Castro attends major sporting events annually such as WWE, F1, NFL, NBA and MLB.
Among his work with brands, Castro has collaborated with 7-Eleven, Gillette, Electronic Arts and Turtle Beach. Earlier this year, he was seen in a McDonald’sSuper Bowl commercial.
The half-Mexican American professional wrestler, WWE star, actress, fashion designer and model will star in the action-thriller Phoenix, from Tadross Media Group, Bulldog Brothers Entertainment and director Daniel Zirilli.
Eva Marie, as she’s known in the ring, will star alongside Randy Couture, Neal McDonough, former WWE tag team champion Oleg Prudius, Bai Lin and former UFC lightweight champion Rashad Evans in the film.
The film has entered production in Miami.
Phoenix centers on Fiona “Phoenix” Grant (Marie), a U.S. Army veteran sergeant who is teaching hand-to-hand combat skills in Afghanistan when she receives word that her father, Everett Grant (Couture), a prominent security specialist, has been killed in Florida. The police report says it was suicide, but Fiona doesn’t believe it. Encouraged to take a leave of absence by her commanding officer (McDonough), she heads back to the U.S. and soon learns that the prime suspect is Maxim Vasiliiev (Prudius), a ruthless local drug kingpin with an army of mercenaries and enough legal, political and business influence to keep him outside the law. Armed to the teeth, she plans to take out Vasiliiev with her bare hands, and nothing is going to stop her.
Zirilli adapted the film from a story he wrote with Alexander Nistratov.
Eva Marie, who appeared in the reality series Total Divas, has appeared in Inconceivable and Hard Kill.

It will showcase the most outrageous and jaw-dropping daredevil acts. Each week extreme contestants will go head-to-head in the most wild, wacky and craziest stunts to vie for the ultimate title.
The 35-year-old part-Spanish and part-Cuban American actress, model and professional wrestler, best known for her work in WWE under the ring name Maxine, is partnering with executive producer Mark Canton to develop a new cop series.
The show, Miami River Cops(working title), is based on the life of former police officer Victor Zapata.
It will follow Zapata as a young Latin street cop, examining his encounters with drug dealers, racist commanders and his own corrupt motivations. Ultimately, it will watch as he and his closest friends are transformed from cops to criminals while chasing the American Dream in 1980s Miami.
The series is being scripted by James DiLapo and Sebastian Gutierrez. Canton and Perez will executive produce.
Miami River Cops is the first project to emerge from a 50-50 partnership deal Perez recently entered into with Canton’s Atmosphere Entertainment.
Perez is reportedly slated to produce a number of other projects under the deal.
“I could not be more excited to join this wonderfully talented team in creating this series that will powerfully connect the 80’s with modern times,” said Mark Canton. “It will be filled with twists and turns as the audience, through the eyes of the protagonist and his cop cohorts, experience the impact of losing touch with their sworn duty to protect and serve and instead turn to the dark side.”

Bad Bunny is giving fans 100 million reasons to dance…
The 27-year-old Puerto Rican rap superstar, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, has surprised fans with the release of the new single “100 Millones.”
Bad Bunny dropped the new track at the stroke of midnight, without much fanfare.
With an assist from Luar La L, it’s Bunny’s first release of new material this year, and the followup to single “La Noche De Anoche” with Rosalía, which appeared on his 2020 albumEl Último Tour del Mundo.
And, there’s more new music on the way.
Bad Bunny stopped by New Music Daily on Apple Music 1 to discuss the new number and his next song “Yonaguni,” which is due out next week.
Luar La L “is so hot right now on the streets in Puerto Rico is killing it,” Bad Bunny told New Music Daily host Zane Lowe. “He has that confidence. He has the energy.”
Of “Yonaguni,” expect a bit of both words. “It’s a balance is what people want,” he explained. “But that’s the idea, make a balance, give the people (what) they want, like the street fire street bang, and also like a chill, sweet rhythm to dance and enjoy for the summer.”
Bad Bunny wrote the song just three weeks ago, not long after her completed hisWWE debut. “I was like three months working hard training, learning how to get the bump. How to fight, how to throw the punches,” he said of his time in the ring. “But I enjoyed it a lot. It was a dream come true. I was like a kid.”
Bad Bunny is in red-hot form. He won four categories at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards last weekend, including top Latin artist for the second year in a row, and performed “Te Deseo lo Mejor” on the night. The song is lifted from El Último Tour Del Mundo, which made history last year as the first all-Spanish-language album to hit No. 1 on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart.
It was his second record-setting feat in the same calendar year. Earlier in 2020, his album YHLQMDLG opened at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, for what was then the highest charting all-Spanish-language title on the chart.
The 42-year-old Puerto Rican and Mexican American actress and Lucifer star has been brought in to co-pen the upcoming untitled 47 Roninsequel alongside New York Timesbestselling author AJ Mendez for Universal 1440 Entertainment.
The action-fantasy film, which is being directed by Mulan‘s Ron Yuan, is the follow up to the 2013 Universal Keanu Reeves movie which grossed over $151M WW.
The original film was directed by Carl Rinsch and written by Chris Morgan and Hossein Amini from a story conceived by Morgan and Walter Hamada. Also starring in that film were Hiroyuki Sanada, Tadanobu Asano, Rinko Kikuchi and Ko Shibasaki.
Based on Chūshingura, 47 Ronin tells a fictionalized account of the titular 47 rōnin, a real-life group of samurai in the 18th century who set out to avenge the death of their master who was killed by a merciless shogun.
“AJ and I are excited to write a diverse and inclusive action film,” said Garcia. “Director Ron Yuan’s vision to blend martial arts, horror, cyber-punk and action was inspiring and we’d like to thank the team at 1440 for being so supportive.”

Garcia currently stars on Netflix’s Lucifer, new episodes of which are dropping on May 28, and she’ll also star in Marvel’s MODOK, premiering on Hulu on May 21.
Mendez’s pilot script Homelanded on The Black List’s inaugural Latinx TV List in 2020. She’s a former championship wrestler with the WWE.
Garcia and Mendez are the co-authors of the comic book series Glow, based on the Netflix property, and Dungeons and Dragonsfor IDW Publishing, as well as Wonder Womanfor DC Comics coming out in July.
The duo recently launched Scrappy Heart Productions to create diverse stories with universal themes across all media. Currently, Scrappy Heart is adapting Crazy Is My Superpower, based on Mendez’s bestselling memoir.
The 26-year-old Puerto Rican reggaeton and Latin trap singer-songwriter will perform at the WWE‘s Royal Rumble on Sunday, January 31.
Bad Bunny will perform “Booker T,” from his chart-topping album El Último Tour Del Mundo.

This performance will be the first time Bunny sings “Booker T” live. On the song, inspired by wrestling legend Booker T, Bad Bunny sings about staying at the top of his game just like the wrestler, who stars in the singer-songwriter’s music video.
