“Have you ever been hypnotized before?” asks Rosario Dawson in the red band trailer for her latest film Trance.
Directed by Danny Boyle, the film centers on an art heist gone wrong.
It stars the 33-year-old Puerto Rican/Afro-Cuban actress as a hypnotherapist who desperately tries to bring back the memory of art gallery auctioneer, portrayed by James McAvoy, who suffers from amnesia after getting a huge blow to the head and forgets where the priceless painting of Goya‘s “Witches in the Air” is stored.
The thriller, the first of Boyle’s films to a female heroine, is set to open on April 5.
