Morales to Star Opposite Rob Lowe & Fred Savage in Fox’s Comedy Pilot “The Grinder”

Natalie Morales is ready for the daily grind(er)

The 30-year-old Cuban American actress will co-star opposite Rob Lowe and Fred Savage in The Grinder, Fox’s comedy pilot from Andrew Mogel, Nick Stoller and Jarrad Paul.

Written by Mogel and Paul and directed by Jake KasdanThe Grinder stars Lowe as beloved TV lawyer Dean Sanderson (aka “The Grinder”). When his long-running hit series comes to an end, he finds himself at a crossroads in life and decides to move back to his small hometown, thinking he has the experience to take over his family’s law firm. Once there, he butts heads with his brother, Stewart Sanderson (Savage).

Morales will play Claire, a paralegal who works at Stewart’s law firm. She has never seen an episode of Dean’s TV show and is unimpressed with his celebrity.

The project will also star Mary Elizabeth Ellis and William Devane.

Morales’ credits include the feature films Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps and Going the Distance, as well as television roles on Girls, Parks and RecreationTrophy Wife and The Newsroom.

Fox Releases Full-Length Trailer for “24: Live Another Day,” Featuring Bratt

The (real-time) clock is ticking for Benjamin Bratt

Fox has released the first full-length trailer for its upcoming limited series 24: Live Another Day, which sees the return of the notorious Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland).

The story centers on Bauer coming out of hiding in London to head off a massive terrorist attack while being hunted down by American forces dispatched by President James Heller (William Devane).

The action-packed trailer begins with the 50-year-old half-Peruvian American actor’s character, Steve Navarro, the head of CIA operations tracking Bauer in London, saying “Freeze it right there. It’s Bauer.”

24: Live Another Day will premiere on May 5.

First Teaser Trailer Released for “24: Live Another Day,” with Bratt Joining the Cast

He may not appear in the just-released first teaser trailer, but expect to see Benjamin Bratt bring extra heat to 24: Live Another Day.

During the Super Bowl, Fox unveiled the first trailer for the event series, which sees the return of Kiefer Sutherland’s beloved action hero Jack Bauer, with the 50-year-old half-Peruvian American actor joining the cast.

There’s still no word on what role Bratt will play, but we do know the next chapter in the 24 franchise picks up the story four years after the series finale, which left Jack Bauer as a fugitive from justice, this time in London.

Along with Bratt and Sutherland, the cast includes Mary Lynn Rajskub, Kim Raver, William Devane, Yvonne Strahovski, Judy Davis and Tate Donovan.
