Prince Royce’s Debut English Album “Double Vision” Due July 24

Prince Royce will be a (double) vision this summer…

The 26-year-old Dominican American singer-songwriter’s highly anticipated English-language album debut will be called Double Vision, and will be released July 24 on RCA Records, riding on the momentum of his new single “Back It Up” with Jennifer Lopez and Pitbull.

The chart-climbing track follows the Bronx-born bachatero’s first single in English, “Stuck on a Feeling.”

The list of collaborators on Royce’s English project reads like a who’s who of pop hitmakers, with names including Illya Salmanzadeh (Ariana Grande); Jason Evigan (Jason Derulo); Toby Gad (Beyoncé); Roccstar (Chris Brown); and more.

“What I put out in English, that’s who most people are going to think I am — that’s why I’m being so careful,” Royce told Billboard for a cover story earlier this year. “I love hip-hop, R&B, techno and Latin. The album’s a combination of everything I grew up listening to.”

It’s shaping up to be a busy summer for Royce, who kicks off his tour with Ariana Grande on July 16 in Tampa, Florida.

Jauregui, Cabello & Hernandez’s Fifth Harmony Release “Miss Movin’ On” Video

Lauren Jauregui, Camila Cabello and Ally Brooke Hernandez may not have come away the winners of Fox’s The X Factor, but they are movin’ on to bigger and better things…

The Latina singers, members of the Simon Cowell-created all-girl group, have released the Vine-style video for their debut single “Miss Movin’ On.”

Fifth Harmony

The video – part sing-along party, part fun with markers – features the fresh-faced quintet holding up the colorfully written words to the kiss-off anthem. The girls are framed in a Vine-esque app, with the video’s quick edits in the style of the video service’s short shots.

The empowerment track fulfills the girl group’s promise to release “fun pop,” which the quintet made to Billboard at the Radio Disney Music Awards in April. The group was “really far along” with its debut album at that point, with a release anticipated this year on Epic Records.

Producers involved in Fifth Harmony’s debut album include Toby Gad and Julian Bunetta, with Fifth Harmony contributing songwriting as well.

Fifth Harmony finished in third place on the second season of The X Factor earlier this year.

Jauregui, Cabello & Hernandez’s Fifth Harmony Hard at Work on Debut Album

Lauren Jauregui, Camila Cabello, Ally Brooke Hernandez and the rest of the members of Fifth Harmony are thisclose to completing their first album.

The female pop quintet, which was formed by Simon Cowell during this year’s edition of The X Factor, is “really far along” with its debut album, which is due out later this year via Epic Records.

Fifth Harmony

During the Radio Disney Music Awards this past weekend, the ladies of Fifth Harmony told Billboard.com that they are in the middle of “picking our single” and called the vibe of the album “fun pop” with a “little bit” of R&B.

The all-girl group, which finished in third place on the Fox reality singing competition, is working with producers like Toby Gad (Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez) and Julian Bunetta (One Direction, Kylie Minogue) on the album, which will also boast a lot of songwriting from Fifth Harmony itself.

Sanchez Preparing to Release Debut Single in February…

Last year’s American Idol runner-up Jessica Sanchez is preparing to release her debut single next month…

The 17-year-old half-Mexican American singer, who collaborated with the Black Eyed Peasapl.de.ap on the promotional single “Jump In,” has revealed that she’s been hard at work on making music.

Jessica Sanchez

“I’ve been working on my album since the Idol tour and I just finished it up,” the pint-sized singer announced recently, saying she’s getting ready to release her debut single this February.

Sanchez’s first single is reportedly a duet with R&B crooner Ne-Yo, who is also one of the producers/songwriters who worked on her upcoming album.

When asked about the long time it has taken to release her debut album, Sanchez told MTV News, “I wanted to make it perfect for the fans. I’ve worked in the studio before, but going to that next level with such high producers? It was crazy … working with Ne-Yo. Everything was such a blur and I was just a fan girl the whole time.”

Despite the long wait since the end of the 11th season of Idol last summer, fans will soon get to hear the 16 tracks that Sanchez has recorded with song masters Toby Gad (One Direction, Kelly Clarkson), Harvey Mason Jr. (Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake) and Rykeyz (Wiz Khalifa, Fantasia Barrino).

“It’s me, soulful, but more dancey,” Sanchez said of her work. “It’s all completely me,” she said of her upbeat, mainstream pop disc with an R&B edge. “And I’m excited about all of it.”

In the meantime, Sanchez’s fans will get a chance to see her in her upcoming recurring role on Fox’s Glee.

Gomez Reportedly Making Music with Boyfriend Justin Bieber

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber may be out to prove that “the couple that records together, stays together”…

The 20-year-old half-Mexican American singer/actress is reportedly working on new music with her boyfriend of more than a year.

Bieber is writing and producing tracks for Gomez’s next album, according to MTV, including one that he played for the Black Eyed Peas’ frontman, will.i.am. Speaking with Canada’s New Music Live, will.i.am recalled hearing the song.

“He was like, ‘Yeah, I wrote it for Selena. It’s great,” said will.i.am. “And it was really awesome. It was really, really dope.”

No word on what kind of song Bieber wrote, but earlier this year, Gomez told E! News that she wanted her next album to be “really fun.”

“It’s not going to be necessarily, ‘Here’s my tell-all,’” she said, referencing her famous boyfriend. “It’s going to be more of something that people could say, ‘It could be that or it could be this or it could be that.’ At the end of the day, I only make my music because I want it [to] be really fun, and if I could have people dance to it, relate to it, have a good time, that’s all I want.”

Gomez’s last album, When the Sun Goes Down, peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart following its release in June 2011. The singer hasn’t officially announced a release date for her next effort, but it’s expected to come out sometime in 2013.

Gomez has also reportedly collaborated with Toby Gad and Rock Mafia on her new album.
