Morgan, best known for portraying Sonny Corinthos and Alexis Davis’ daughter Kristina Davis on General Hospital from 2012-13, has landed a recurring role on the futuristic sci-fi drama, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Set 97 years after a nuclear war has destroyed civilization, a spaceship called the Ark housing the lone human survivors sends 100 juvenile delinquents back to Earth to investigate the possibility of recolonizing the planet.

The series is based on Little, Brown’s The Hundred book series by Kass Morgan.

Morgan will play the “smart, skilled and fiercely determined Raven, the youngest mechanical engineer the Ark has seen in 52 years,” according to the official character description. “Upon learning about the 100, she is desperate to be reunited with her friends on the ground.”

Morgan was nominated for a Daytime Emmy for her General Hospital arc.

Her past television credits include How I Met Your Mother, Happy Endings and Franklin & Bash.

The 100 premieres midseason on The CW.
