Longoria Starring in “The Baytown Disco”

Eva Longoria’s career prospects don’t look so desperate after the end of Desperate Housewives later this year…

Along with serving as an executive producer on ABC’s Devious Maids pilot and launching a new matchmaking show for NBC, the 37-year-old Mexican-American actress could be returning to the big screen in The Baytown Disco, an action thriller about three infamously ruthless Alabama brothers who find themselves on the wrong side of a wild cast of characters when they finally try to do a single good deed.

Longoria, who has previously starred in big screen films The Sentinel and Over Her Dead Body plays Celeste Martin, a woman who hires the brothers to get her godson back from her cruel ex-husband, played by Billy Bob Thornton.

Buyer screening will be taking place in Los Angeles and New York tonight. Here’s hoping someone picks up the distribution rights for the film.
