Louis C.K.’s Emmy count continues to rise…

The 46-year-old Mexican American stand-up comedian and actor picked up the fourth Primetime Emmy of his career on Sunday night at the 65th annual Creative Arts Emmy Awards, held at the Nokia Theatre at L.A. Live.

Louis C.K., a record-breaking nine-time Emmy nominee this year, won the statuette for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series for penning his hit HBO comedy special Louis C.K.: Oh My God.

He still has a chance to add to his haul during Sunday night’s Primetime Emmy Awards show. The creator of FX’s Louie, has earned acting, producing, writing and directing nominations for his work on the critically acclaimed comedy series.

The Creative Arts Emmy Awards are typically held one week before the televised Primetime Emmy Awards.

Louis C.K. was not present for the show.
