The 25-year-old Chilean American singer-songwriter, who recently became the first female artist signed to Double P Managememt, has released CÓDiGOS DE MUÑEKA.

The LP drops with the reggaetón bop “HAKiA,” where she oozes confidence singing about a girl that shines even in darkness.

“A doll like that, you just can’t buy,” she sings.

She remains consistent sonically and lyrically throughout the album, with back-to-back certified bangers that set Paloma Mami as a bona fide hitmaker.

Her collaboration with Mexican music star DannyLux is a standout, slowing things down for “SiNKRONiZAMOS” where their honey-voiced vocals take center stage.

Other collaborators in tow include Rauw Alejandro (“LA FREAK”) and Pablo Chill-E (“OJO DE HORUS”).

Paloma Mami Becomes First Female Artist to Sign with Double P Management

The 25-year-old Chilean-American singer-songwriter has signed with Double P Management’s George Prajin, becoming the first female artist on the company’s roster.

Paloma MamiPaloma Mami, who was nominated for best new artist at the 2021 Latin Grammys, joins a roster that includes Peso Pluma, Tito Double PGabito Ballesteros and Santa Fe Klan.

Along with being the first female artist to join Double P Management, she’s also the first non-Mexican act on the roster, marking a new step for the company as it expands its roster beyond música mexicana.

“Paloma is a generational artist whose sound transcends borders,” George Prajin said in a statement. “We’re excited to partner with her and continue pushing the boundaries of Latin music.”

Known for her copper-toned vocals and her attitude-heavy delivery, Mami became an artist to watch when she broke through in 2018 with “Not Steady,” a lushly produced, urban-tinged R&B track that showcased her bilingual skills.

Soon after, Mami signed with Sony Music Latin and began releasing a handful of songs and collaborations — including “No Te Debí Besar” with C. Tangana and “QueLoQue” with Major Lazer, which peaked at No. 17 on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart.

In 2021, Mami officially dropped her debut album, Sueños de Dali. That same year, she received a Latin Grammy nomination for best new artist.

Her only album to date, Sueños de Dali includes co-writing credits from superstars Rosalía, El Guincho, Tainy and Edgar Barrera and is sonically wide-ranging, encompassing melodic reggaetón, R&B and electro-funk.

Most recently, Mami released “HAKiA,” which is powered by a hypnotizing reggaetón drum beat.

She is set to release a new album July 11 via Sony Music Latin.

The 21-year-old Chilean American singer has achieved an exciting milestone this week with her debut Spanglish studio album, Sueños de Dali, named one of Billboard’s Best Latin albums of 2021 thus far.

Released on March 18, Paloma Mami’s set was certified Gold by the RIAA this week, making her the “first Latin female artist and first Chilean artist to achieve Gold certification for a debut album with no features in the United States,” according to a statement.

“Thank you to everyone who was a part of this project,” she expressed on social media. “And to everyone who simply appreciates my art and vision. I challenged myself and I achieved it.”

Paloma Mami Releases New Single “Religiosa”

It’s an experiencia religiosa for Paloma Mami.

The 21-year-old Chilean American newcomer, whose real name is Paloma Rocío Castillo Astorga, has released her new single “Religiosa,” which forms part of her upcoming debut studio album Sueños de Dali.

The song is the fourth single following “Mami,” “Goteo” and “For Ya.”

In true Paloma Mami fashion, the songstress sings in Spanish and English over a sultry Latin R&B beat.

She sings about a love so pure and real that it makes her feel spiritual.

“I became obsessed with your gaze/ There are no gray days by your side/ I always want you to take care of me/ I don’t like it when you say goodbye,” says part of the lyric.

The homemade music video features Paloma Mami with her real-life boyfriend.

“Every song takes you on a different journey and I know so many will identify with each of these moments and feelings that I’ve expressed through each song,” she said of her upcoming album, set for release on March 19.
