Three Tracks from Gomez’s “For You” Album Leaked Online

Selena Gomez is facing a new dilemma…

The 22-year-old half-Mexican American singer actress’ upcoming greatest hits album features a high-octane remix of her single “My Dilemma,” from her 2011 When The Sun Goes Down album.

“My Dilemma 2.0,” is one of three songs from For You, an album of alternate takes, remixes and new tracks, that have been leaked online.

In addition to the “My Dilemma” remix, the new track “Do It” and a Boy Lightning remix of “Forget Forever” off of last year’s Stars Dance album have been leaked.

The tracks appeared on an uncertified Gomez-dedicated YouTube page Thursday and Friday.

Earlier this month, Gomez shared lead single “The Heart Wants What It Wants” with a dramatic, possibly Justin Bieber-inspired video.

The “My Dilemma 2.0” reworking brings the song up-to-date with contemporary EDM-inspired production, making for a dynamic single.

“Do It” is an uber poppy produced by Rock Mafia with a catchy, almost Rihanna-like chorus.

And Boy Lightning’s “Forget Forever” remix is entirely club-ready, full-bore EDM take on the song.

For You is due out on November 24.

Gomez Among the Artists Featured on “PopLove 2 (2013)” Mashup

Selena Gomez breaks it down and drops it low in the latest mashup of last year’s most dancetastic songs…

A snippet of the 21-year-old half-Mexican American singer/actress’ song “Slow Down,” from her chart-topping album Stars Dance, is featured in Robin Skouteris’ “PopLove 2 (2013),” the ultimate mix of the past year.

But Gomez isn’t the only Latino/a artist featured in the nearly ten-minute long mashup.

Bruno Mars’ “Locked Out of Heaven” and Pitbull’s collaboration with Ke$ha “Timber” are among the tracks featured in the entertaining mega-mix.

“I mixed 56 hits I liked this year and here is the result,” writes the remixer/DJ on his Facebook page.

Other artists featured include Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Rihanna, Lady Gaga and Ellie Goulding.

Gomez Headlines Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving Game Halftime Show

Selena Gomez has returned to her Dallas area roots this Thanksgiving… in a big way.

The 21-year-old half-Mexican singer/actress, a Grand Prarie, Texas native, returned home to headline the Dallas Cowboys–Oakland Raiders halftime show.

Gomez energetically rocked the stage at Arlington’s AT&T Stadium on Thanksgiving day as she performed on behalf of The Salvation Army.

Donning a sexy bodysuit, a fringe leather skirt and a pair of gold gladiator wedges, Gomez kicked off her three-song set with “Like a Champion.”

In the middle of performing her current hit “Slow Down“, the former Disney Channel star shed the skirt and revealed a pair of leather hot pants.

Gomez, who was joined by several dancers, cheerleaders and flag bearers, then concluded her set with “Come and Get It“.

All three songs appear on Stars Dance, the singer’s latest chart-topping album.

Charlotte Anderson, the Cowboys executive vice president and chief brand officer, has explained why the team decided to have Gomez perform during the halftime show. Anderson, who is also the first woman chair of the Salvation Army’s National Advisory Board, said that she wanted someone who can inspire a new generation.

“Particularly this year, clearly with Selena Gomez, the whole concept is to mobilize a younger generation,” Anderson explained. “This generation is yards ahead of us in terms of how they communicate. She is the perfect person to go to when you’re trying to reach that generation.”

“If we can inspire people to give and help the Salvation Army, then we can help people one step at a time and really help address significant problems,” she added.

Gomez to Perform “Slow Down” on “The X Factor”

Selena Gomez is ready to slow things down on The X Factor…

The 21-year-old half-Mexican American actress/singer will drop by Fox’s reality singing competition on Thursday, November 7 to perform her latest hit single “Slow Down.”

The second single from the former Disney Channel star’s No. 1 album Stars Dance was released to radio on August 13. Since then it has been certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), for selling over 500,000 units of the single in the country.

On Billboard’s Pop Songs chart, it entered the top 10 and peaked at number 7.

Gomez is currently on a world tour to promote the album.

Anthony Could Land His First Spanish-Language Top 10 Album on the Billboard 200

He may have a storied and successful career, but Marc Anthony is still capable of firsts…

The 44-year-old Puerto Rican singer-songwriter could land his first Spanish-language album on the Billboard 200 chart.

While Selena Gomez’s Stars Dance heads for No. 1 on the chart, Anthony’s latest album, 3.0, could log the second-highest debut on the charts with 30,000 copies sold in its first week.

Anthony’s last album, Iconos, started with 24,000 at No. 11 in 2010.

If “3.0” starts in the top 10, it will be his first Spanish-language top 10 set, and his first top 10 overall since 2002’s Mended debuted and peaked at No. 3.

3.0 may also net his largest sales week since 2004, when Amar Sin Mentiras opened with 35,000 at No. 26.

Teaser Video Released for Gomez’s Upcoming Album “Stars Dance”

Selena Gomez is making the stars dance with her latest music…

The 20-year-old half-Mexican singer/actress has released a short teaser clip for her forthcoming new album Stars Dance, set to the tune of its title track, to remind fans of album’s upcoming July 23 release date.

Gomez’s new album includes her current No. 1 hit single “Come & Get It“ and latest single “Slow Down.”

The short clip, at a mere 27 seconds, starts off by revealing the album’s producer Rock Mafia, who posted the link on their official Twitter account. It’s then followed by the album’s cover image – a black-and-white photo of Gomez dressed in an elaborately beaded outfit and headpiece – with her left hand stroking the side of her face. It ends with her reveal of the album’s release date.

The clip embodies the title of Gomez’s new album with all the starry visuals , giving the illusion that you’re in outer space. It also features electronica-inspired instrumentals that give listeners a sort of extra-terrestrial feeling.

In addition to the up tempo singles, Gomez’s fans will be treated to “Love Will Remember,” the most personal track on the record, according to Gomez, as it is admittedly about her on-and-off relationship with Justin Bieber.

Carey Delays Release of New Album Indefinitely

Mariah Carey is putting the brakes on the release of her latest album.

The 43-year-old half-Venezuelan singer and former American Idol judge informed fans via Twitter that she’s delaying the release of her 14th studio album indefinitely.

“While making this album, I got so immersed in the creative process that I just don’t feel it would be doing it justice to release it on 7/23,” Carey wrote. Originally slated for a July 23 debut, The Art of Letting Go doesn’t have a new release date yet.

“I’d rather not exclude meaningful songs,” she added. “I want to give you this album as it’s meant to be heard. When I’m ready, you’ll be the first 2 know.”

The news comes as a blessing to fellow Latina songstress Selena Gomez, whose forthcoming Stars Dance was supposed to come out on same day as Carey’s album. With the pop diva out of the way, Gomez now has a stronger chance of scoring a No. 1 chart debut, though she’ll still have to contend with Chris Brown’s X in its second week of sales.

Carey, meanwhile, still has a #Beautiful hit on her hands… The lead single from her now-undated album. “#Beautiful” feat. Miguel has thus far peaked at No. 15 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and No. 3 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
