Camila Cabello has picked up her first PCAas a solo artist…

The 22-year-old Cuban and Mexican American singer and former Fifth Harmony member took home the award for The Song of 2019 for her chart-topping collaboration with Shawn Mendes, “Señorita.”

Cabello had previously won twice for Favorite Group (2016, 2017) as a member of 5H.

In all, more than one billion votes were cast during this year’s PCAs voting period.

Camila Cabello to Perform at the American Music Awards

The 22-year-old Cuban and Mexican singer and former Fifth Harmony member is set to perform at this year’s American Music Awards.

Cabello, a four-time AMAs winner at last year’s awards show, joins an all-star roster of female performers that includes Billie EilishDua Lipa and Lizzo

Cabello, nominated this year for Collaboration of the Year for her Shawn Mendes tie-up “Señorita,” and Lipa performed at last year’s ceremony, while this will be Eilish and Lizzo’s first at-bat at the awards show.

The American Music Awards will take place onNovember 24 in Los Angeles.

The fabulous four join previously announced performers Selena Gomez, as well as Taylor Swift, recipient of the AMAs Artist of the Decade award.

Voting is now open for all AMAs categories at google/AMAsVote or by going to Google.comand using the search terms “AMAs Vote” or “[Nominee Name] AMAs Vote.” Voting will close on November 20.

The 2019 AMAs will air live from the Microsoft Theaterin L.A. at 8:00 pm ET on ABC.

Becky G to Host & Perform at This Year’s MTV Europe Music Awards

The 22-year-old Mexican American bilingual singer-songwriter, who just released the trilingual track “Chicken Noodle Soup” with BTSJ-Hope, is set to host this year’s MTV Europe Music Awards, as well as perform at the awards show, which will take place in Seville, Spain.

Becky G is set for a busy night as she also has a nomination, taking on Ariana GrandeCamila Cabello, Halsey, the Jonas Brothers, and Shawn Mendes in the Best Pop category.

Becky G has notched two number one hits on the Billboard Latin Airplay charts –  “Mayores” and “Sin Pijama” – and on-screen had a starring role in the Power Rangersmovie. She has also guest-starred on the Foxseries Empire.

It looks like there’s plenty of summer (song) lovin’ for Camila Cabello

LyricFind has released its list of top trending lyrics of the summer, with the 22-year-old Cuban and Mexican singer’s collaboration with Shawn Mendes, “Señorita,” making the roster.

The company is the world’s leader in licensed lyrics, with data provided by more than 4,000 publishers and utilized by more than 100 services, including AmazonPandoraDeezerMicrosoftSoundHoundand iHeartRadio.

LyricFind, which ranks the fastest momentum-gaining tracks in lyric-search queries globally and in the U.S, ranks the Latin-infused Cabello-Mendes track at No. 9.

“Señorita” only was released as a single on June 21 through Island Records, so the track has gained a lot of steam in a short time. 

But Cabello isn’t the only Hispanic artist to make the list…

Aloe Blacccomes in at No. 10 with his Aviciicollaboration, “SOS.” The single, featuring the 40-year-old Panamanian singer’s vocals, was released on April 10.

“Señorita” rises to the top of the ARIA Singles Chart after four consecutive weeks at No. 2, giving Cabello her second singles chart-topper following her smash “Havana,” which ruled the survey for three weeks in late 2017. Mendes, meanwhile, has earned his first leader Down Under

With “Señorita” claiming top spot, Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road” (Columbia/Sony) dips 1-2, ending its chart-topping run at 13 weeks, good enough for equal second best of all time alongside Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee’s “Despacito” and Coolio’sGangsta’s Paradise”. Only Sheeran’s “Shape Of You” has enjoyed a longer streak at the summit, at 15 weeks.

The 22-year-old Cuban and Mexican singer and Shawn Mendes’ single “Señorita” returns to the summit of the U.K. singles chart, according to the Official Charts Company.

Combined units for “Señorita” totaled 68,000, of which just over 9,000 were downloads and 8 million streams. 

It’s Cabello’s second No. 1 single on the U.K. charts. She earned her first No. 1 with her breakout single as a solo artist, “Havana.”

Ricky Martin to Perform Alongside Camila Cabello at This Year’s Grammys

The Recording Academy has announced that the 47-year-old Puerto Rican superstar will take the stage during this year’s Grammy Awards ceremony.

Martin, a two-time Grammy winner, will join Camila Cabelloduring her show opening number.

In addition to Martin, J BalvinYoung Thugand Arturo Sandovalare also expected to appear alongside Cabello, a two-time nominee this year.

Additionally, the show will feature a special tribute to eight-time Grammywinner, Dolly Parton, who will also take to the stage for the first time in 18 years to perform her new music.

Set to perform the iconic country star’s classic hits will be Katy PerryKacey MusgravesLittle Big Townand Maren Morris. Parton will then take center stage to sing her latest tunes from her 2018 album, Dumplin’ — the soundtrack to Netflix’s original motion picture by the same name starring Jennifer Aniston.

The 21-year-old Cuban and Mexican singer and former Fifth Harmony member shared an adorable photo on Twitter of her with friend and previous collaborator Shawn Mendes.

The pic shows the pair sitting on a floor with Cabello playing the guitar as Mendes watches her.

“Canadian Fury and Latin Sass,” Cabello captioned the photo, possibly hinting at a new collaboration.

While the pop stars have not discussed the possibility of any future projects, their fans have already expressed their excitement over a potential new joint track following up the pair’s Billboard Hot 100top 20 hit “I Know What You Did Last Summer” in 2015.
