Pepe Aguilar’s tribute to his late mother has reached millions…

The 52-year-old  Mexican-American singer-songwriter and actor’s tribute to Flor Silvestre leads Billboard’s Top Facebook Live Videos chart for November 2020.

The chart, the latest of which recaps the activity in November, is a monthly look at the widest reaching and most-reacted-to videos posted by musicians on Facebook Live, as tracked by media analytics company Shareablee. Rankings are determined by a formula that blends reactions, comments, shares and first-seven-days views.

Aguilar’s mother died on November 25 at 90 years old of natural causes. Her film and music career stretched multiple decades, beginning in the early 1950s through her passing.

Aguilar’s November 26 Facebook livestream lasted more than an hour and showed a large crowd following a hearse containing Silvestre’s casket, followed by the funeral service itself.

In its first seven days, the video was viewed 17.3 million times, a sizable count when considering that the next closest video by a musician in terms of views for November 2020 received 1.4 million views.

Additionally, Aguilar’s clip was shared 119,000 times, was reacted to 467,000 times and received 101,000 comments, according to Shareablee.

Gusttavo Lima Leads Billboard’s Top Facebook Live Videos Chart with Five-Hour At-Home Concert

Gusttavo Lima is the leader of the Facebook Live pack…

The 30-year-old Brazilian singer leads Billboard’s Top Facebook Live Videos chart’s March 2020 edition.

Gusttavo Lima

In March, much of the world began isolating itself due to the global outbreak of COVID-19— and a result, the chart saw more uploads than ever, as multiple musicians and bands uploaded videos from quarantine to their Facebookaccounts.

Lima’s chart-topper was a March 27 clip in which he performed a concert from home.

The chart is a monthly look at the widest-reaching and most-reacted-to videos posted by musicians on Facebook Live, as tracked by media analytics company Shareablee. Rankings are determined by a formula that blends reactions, comments, shares and first-seven-days views.

Lima’s five-hour stream, titled Buteco em Casa, was streamed across multiple social media channels in addition to Facebook. The concert featured Lima performing over prerecorded instrumentals and was shot at Lima’s home, with lighting and other resources used to create a more high-tech concert experience than, say, a solo performance in front of a webcam.

The concert was a major success, leading the March chart in two of its four metrics: comments (551,000) and reactions (338,000), according to Shareablee.

Lima held a second such concert on April 11 that will likely be in contention for the top spot of April 2020’s Top Facebook Live Videos chart.

Lima’s concert was outpaced in two metrics: shares and views in its first seven days. That distinction belongs to the No. 2 video of the month, uploaded by French singer-songwriter and actor Patrick Bruel. Bruel’s March 20 video, which ran for 11 minutes, also included a performance from his home.

Uploads from Bob SinclarMatthieu Chedid and Metallica round out the chart’s top five.

Thalia Rules Billboard’s Top Facebook Live Videos Chart in June 2018

Thalia is the Facebook Live Queen…

The 46-year-old Mexican singer rules Billboard’s Top Facebook Live Videos chart for June 2018 thanks to a video in which she celebrated hitting 50 million YouTube views on her music video for “No Me Acuerdo.”

Thalia

The chart, whose latest edition recaps June 2018 activity, is a monthly look at the widest-reaching and most-reacted-to videos posted by musicians on Facebook Live, as tracked by media analytics company Shareablee. Rankings are determined by a formula that blends reactions, comments, shares and first-seven-days views.

The June 21 video thanked fans for helping “No Me Acuerdo,” Thalia’s song with Natti Natasha, reach 50 million views following its June 1 release on YouTube. The clip has since reached nearly 170 million global views as of July 25.

Thalia’s thank-you video leads June’s chart in two metrics: reactions and comments. It received 66,000 reactions and 25,000 comments, according to Shareablee, as well as 3,000 shares and 811,000 views in its first seven days.
