Miguel could be performing in a town near you this spring…
The 25-year-old half-Mexican American R&B singer/songwriter, who recently earned five Grammy Award nominations, will hit the road with Girl on Fire songstress Alicia Keys in March and April, as previously reported.
Miguel and Keys will trek across North America as part of Keys’ “Set the World on Fire” concert tour, which will feature stops in 24 cities.
The concert tour will kick off on March 7 in Seattle, Washington and end April 18 in Chicago.
“I can feel the energy of this upcoming year building and I couldn’t be more excited to go on tour with the new album and I’m thrilled to have the insanely talented Miguel join me,” Keys gushed in a statement released to the press.
Miguel, who just finished “The Chapter V Tour” with Trey Songz and Elle Varner, returned the compliment by saying, “I love Alicia because whether it’s 5 or 500,000 people she’s performing for, she exudes this hypnotic honesty and a transparent artistry.” He added, “I think that’s what this tour will be remembered for the most.”
The six-week long tour will take Miguel and Keys to renowned venues like the L.A. Staples Center, The Mandalay Bay Center in Las Vegas, The Toyota Center in Houston, The United Center in Chicago and New York’s Madison Square Garden.
