Jorgeous to Compete on Season Nine of Paramount+’s “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars”

The 24-year-old Mexican American drag performer, whose real name is Jorge Meza, will compete on the ninth season of Paramount+’s RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars.

JorgeousJorgeous, who finished in 6th place on Season 14 of RuPaul’s Drag Race, will join seven other queens from past seasons to compete for a cash prize of $200,000 — but this time, all eight queens will be competing on behalf of a charity of their choice.

Jorgeous will compete for the National Alliance of Mental Illness.

But Jorgeous isn’t the only Latina drag artist set to compete.

Vanessa Vanjie Mateo, who competed on seasons 10 and 11, will compete for the ASPCA.

The other queens include: Angeria Paris VanMichaels (season 14), competing for the National Black Justice Collective; Gottmik (season 13), competing for Trans LifelineNina West (season 11), competing for The Trevor Project; Plastique Tiara (season 11), competing for The Asian American Foundation (TAAF); Roxxxy Andrews (season five, All Stars 2), competing for Miracle of Love; and Shannel (season one, All Stars 1), competing for  Anxiety and Depression Association of America.

This year’s $200,000 cash prize will be provided by The Palette Fund, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing grants and funding to the organizations supporting under-represented communities, including LGBTQ+ people.

All Stars 9 will mark the first time in the history of the Drag Race franchise in which queens will compete for charities.

The news comes on the heels of the finale of RuPaul’s Drag Race season 16, which aired Friday, April 19.

After a series of solo numbers and one final lip sync to Kylie Minogue’s “Padam Padam,” Nymphia Wind took home the grand prize, becoming the first Taiwanese-American queen to win in the history of the franchise.

RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 9 premieres with two new episodes on Friday, May 17, on Paramount+.

Naysha Lopez to Compete on Season 8 of “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars”

RuPaul’s Drag Race producers have announced the contestants for Season 8 of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars, with the 38-year-old drag performer among those former Drag Race contestants returning for another chance at the crown.

But Lopez isn’t the only Latinx contestant for the next All Stars installment…

Kandy Muse is hoping to go one step further in her quest for the crown.

The 28-year-old Dominican American drag queen, queer artist and performer was the runner-up on the thirteenth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race.

Kandy MuseIn addition to Naysha Lopez and Kandy Muse, the other 10 queens returning to the runway in hopes of snatching the crown include Alexis Michelle, Darienne Lake, Heidi N Closet, Jaymes Mansfield, Jessica Wild, Jimbo, Kahanna Montrese, LaLa Ri, Monica Beverly Hillz and Mrs. Kasha Davis.

RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars will begin streaming on Paramount+ with two new episodes on May 12. The queens will compete for a spot in the “Drag Race Hall of Fame”’ along with a cash prize of $200,000.

New episodes of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars: Untucked will premiere alongside Season 8 to bring viewers behind the scenes to the backstage drama as the queens anxiously await their fate each week.

Alexis Michelle (Season 9)

Cameron Diaz to Appear as Guest Judge on Season 7 of Paramount+’s “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars”

Paramount+ has released the trailer for the latest installment of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars, which will feature the 49-year-old half-Cuban American actress as a guest judge.

During the Drag Race Season 14 Grand Finale on Friday, Paramount+ shared a teaser for the upcoming All Stars season, which will feature an all-winners lineup of contestants.

Diaz and Farrow will serve as guest judges during the season alongside Daphne Guinness, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, Jeffrey BowyerChapman, Nikki Glaser, Tove Lo, Betsey Johnson, Janicza BravoBen Platt and Hannah Einbinder.

United States House Speaker Pelosi and fashion icon Campbell will make special guest appearances throughout the season, as will Wheel of Fortune’s Vanna White.

For RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars Season 7, former winners compete for the title of “Queen of All Queens” and a cash prize of $200,000.

All Stars will begin streaming on Paramount+ on May 20.

As previously announced, the eight former winners returning to compete include Jaida Essence Hall, Jinkx Monsoon, Monét X Change, Raja, Shea Couleé, Trinity The Tuck, The Vivienne, and Yvie Oddly.

Yara Sofia Getting Third Shot at the Crown on Season 6 of “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars”

Will the third time be the charm for Yara Sofia?

The 37-year-old Puerto Rican drag queen will compete on the sixth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars, which has found a second home at Paramount+, and 13 returning queens will get another shot at the crown.

Yara Sofia, whose real name is Gabriel Burgos Ortiz, appeared on RuPaul’s Drag Race season 3, where she won Miss Congeniality, and All Stars season 1.

Season 6 of All Stars, which will see 13 returning queens get another shot at the crown, will premiere on June 24 on the streaming platform and welcome back a number of fan favorites and memorable contestants including queens Jiggly Caliente, Scarlet Envy, Eureka O’Hara, Silky Nutmeg Ganache and more.

Returning queens will sashay back to the “werkroom” to vie for a spot in Drag Race Hall of Fame and a cash prize of $100,000.

Drag Race All Stars will start its engines with back-to-back episodes upon its premiere date. New episodes will hit Paramount+ on Thursdays.

Valentina to Make Guest Appearance on Season 13 of “RuPaul’s Drag Race”

Valentina, who finished in 7th place on Season 9 of the acclaimed reality series and 7th place on the fourth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars, and fellow Miss Congeniality winners from past seasons Nina West and Heidi N Closet will appear in future episodes.

Ricky Martin to Serve as Guest Judge on Season Five of “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars”

The 48-year-old Puerto Rican superstar will serve as a guest judge on the fifth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars.

The “Livin’ La Vida Loca” singer kick things off as a guest judge for the premiere episode of the reality drag race competition, which will premiere on Friday, June 5 at 8:oo pm ET/PT on VH1.

In addition to Martin, the star-studded lineup of guest judges includes Tessa Thompson, Jane KrakowskiNicole ByerBebe Rexha, Jeffrey Bowyer-ChapmanSam RichardsonMadison BeerSarah Hyland, Martyn Lawrence BullardTommy Dorfman and Drag Race regular Todrick Hall

In the premiere, Martin will help judge the all-star queens from seasons’ past as they take part in a reading mini-challenge and hit the runway for a “Werq the World” variety extravaganza.

T fifth season has thrown the traditional elimination rules out the window. RuPaul has shaken things up and has “Ru-vealed” that each week she’ll name a top all-star and that queen will lip sync for her legacy against a mysterious lip sync assassin, chosen from the most iconic performers in Drag Race“herstory.” 

If the top all-star of the week wins the lip sync, she wins a $10,000 tip and the power to eliminate the bottom queen of her choice. 

If the lip sync assassin wins, a bottom queen selected from a secret group vote gets the chop, and the money rolls over until a top all-star wins.

Valentina to Compete on the Fourth Season of “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars”

The 27-year-old Mexican American drag performer and television personality, whose real name is James Andrew Leyva,will compete on the fourth seasonof RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars.

Valentina competed on the ninth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race.She placed seventh overall, and her elimination sparked some controversy online as she was popular with fans. She was later awarded the title of Miss Congenialityin the show’s reunion episode by vote, and titled “Fan Favorite” by her fellow castmates.

Outside of the show, Valentina appeared in the sixth episode of the twenty-fourth season of America’s Next Top Model.

In addition to Valentina, the lone Latina competitor, the new cast includes Monét X Change, Trinity Taylor, Farrah Moan,Monique Heart, Jasmine Masters, Naomi Smalls, and Gia Gunn, as well as Manila Luzon and Latrice Royale, who both competed on the first All Starsseason.

RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars will have its big premiere on December 14 at 8:00 pm ET on VH1.

Also on tap to make spirits bright is RuPaul’s Drag Race Holi-slay Spectacular, which features a gaggle of drag sensations competing for the title of  Xmas Queen.

It airs on December 7 at 8:00 pm ET on VH1, and features Eureka O’Hara, Jasmine Masters, Kim Chi, Latrice Royale, Mayhem Miller, Shangela, Sonique and Trixie Mattel.
