Named after his upcoming studio album and in honor of one of the main highways in Puerto Rico near his hometown, the La 167 tour will kick off on November 19 in San Diego’s Viejas Arena and make pit stops in Houston, Atlanta, Miami and San Juan and Puerto Rico, among other cities.

The tour, presented for the most part by Loud and Live and Live Nation on select shows, is set to wrap up February 20 in Chicago’s Rosemont Theatre.

“I am very excited to be able to return to the stage after being away for more than a year due to the pandemic,” the urban artist said in a statement. “Also, I am very happy because this will be my first tour at some of the most important arenas in the United States. With this tour, I will be giving back encouragement to all my fans who during the lockdown continued to connect with my music. I promise to provide you with a show full of energy and a lot of great music as you all deserve it.”

In addition to his tour, Farruko is finalizing his next studio album and appears on the F9 soundtrack on a track called “Rapido” alongside Myke Towers, Amenazzy and Rochy RD.

Anitta Appears on Official “F9” Soundtrack

Anitta is (Fast and) Furiosa

The soundtrack to the latest Fast and Furious film, F9, has been revealed, with the 28-year-old Brazilian singer-songwriter appearing on the album.

Anitta

Anitta, who recently released her first English-language track “Girl From Rio,” perforns the single “Furiosa” on the soundtrack.

But Anitta isn’t the only Latinx artist to appear on the soundtrack…

Justin Quiles, Dalex and Konshens join voices for the single “Rapido;” Amenazzy, Farruko, Myke Towers and Rochy RD perform the single “Real,” and Dominican singer Jarina De Marco performs the song “Mala.”

Like past Fast soundtracks, this one boasts a stellar lineup of established stars and up-and-comers in hip-hop, R&B and Latin. Other artists include Don Toliver, Pop Smoke, Offset, Ty Dolla $ign, Jack Harlow, RZA, The Prodigy, Rico Nasty, and more, who are set to shake up car stereos on June 17 (released via a partnership between Atlantic Records and Universal Pictures; available for pre-order on June 4).

F9 will roar back into movie theaters on June 25.
