Christian Nodal Earns 7th Top 10 on Billboard’s Latin Airplay Chart with “De Los Besos Que Te Di”

The 20-year-oldMexican singer-songwriter has notched his seventh Top 10 on Billboard’s Latin Airplay chart dated August 31, with “De Los Besos Que Te Di.”

The second single off his second studio album Ahora rises 11-7 in its seventh week. 

The tune moves ahead with 9.3 million in audience (up 7%).

Nodal first checked into the list’s top 10 when first chart entry, “Adios Amor,” peaked at No. 5 in 2017. Since then he’s logged six more top 10s, all of which have been solo efforts, unaccompanied by another act, except for “Probablemente,” which featured David Bisbal (a No. 3 peak).

On the Regional Mexican Airplay chart, “De Los Besos Que Te Di” continues at No. 1 for a second week after it landed atop the chart in its eighth week.

The 18-year-old Mexican mariachi singer-songwriter’s earns his third top 10 hit on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Songs airplay chart, as “Me Dejé Llevar” rises 13-8.

The strack earned 5.2 million in audience (up 30 percent) in the week ending December 17 according to Nielsen Music.

Nodal’s latest top 10 follows two previous leaders, both in 2017: “Probablemente,” featuring David Bisbal (No. 1 for four weeks) and “Adios Amor” (No. 1 for seven weeks).

All three tracks are from Nodal’s debut studio album, Me Dejé Llevar, which returns to No. 1 on the Regional Mexican Albums chart for a 12th nonconsecutive week (up 3-1).

The set earned 3,000 equivalent album units in the week ending December 14 (up 4 percent). The album debuted atop the list dated September 16, and has spent more weeks at No. 1 in 2017 than any other album. The award-winning Mexican quartet has earned its 10th No. 1 hit on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Songs airplay chart (dated October 28) as “Corrido de Juanito” ascends 2-1 in its ninth charting frame.

The track earns 10 million in audience (up five percent) in the week ending October 15, according to Nielsen Music.

The song bumps Christian Nodal’s “Probablemente,” featuring David Bisbal, to No. 2, after a four-week run at No. 1. “Probablemente” is down 4 percent to 9.9 million in audience.

Calibre 50’s topical single — which is about a Mexican migrant’s struggles and is featured on the group’s new album, Guerra de Poder — concurrently holds a spot in the top 10 on the Hot Latin Songs chart for a seventh week, dipping 7-8 and hiking 4 percent in airplay in the tracking week ending Oct. 12. The song is Calibre 50’s ninth top 10 on the ranking.

Further, the song’s music video has collected over 45 million global views on YouTube since its posting on August 23.

The 18-year-old Mexican singer-songwriter’s debut album Me Deje Llevar has opened at No. 1 on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Albums chart with 9,000 equivalent album units earned in the week ending August 31, according to Nielsen Music.

In addition, Nodal also arrives at No. 2 on the Top Latin Albums chart.

Of the total sum, 6,000 were in traditional album sales, helping Nodal also open at No. 2 on the Latin Album Sales chart.

Concurrently, Nodal’s second single “Probablemente,” featuring David Bisbal, rises 25-20 on the Hot Latin Songs chart.

Nodal’s first hit, “Adios Amor,” reached No. 4 in February.
