And in a first, the entire Montaner family – Evaluna, Mau y Ricky and dad Ricardo Montaner — will be joined by Camilo (who is married to Evaluna Montaner) to perform “Amén,” which was released during the holidays.

Regional Mexican rising star Lenin Ramírez will also perform alongside Grupo Firme, as will Chesca; with Prince Royce taking the stage alongside Natti Natasha. The latter will sing their hit “Antes que salga el sol” together on television for the first time.

Jesse & Joy Sign Worldwide Deal with Warner Chappell Music Mexico for Catalog Rights

Jesse & Joy are going global…

The Mexican brother sister duo, comprised of Jesse Huerta and Joy Huerta, have signed an exclusive worldwide deal for catalog rights with Warner Chappell Music Mexico, according to Billboard.

Jesse & Joy

From grief and heartbreak to happiness and triumph, Jesse & Joy are “storytellers at their core, making music that speaks to the experiences we’ve all gone through,” says Carlos Ruiz, managing director, Warner Chappell Music Mexico.

“Aside from their musical talent, I’m inspired by how they use their voices to make a difference in the world and support their fellow Latinos, immigrants, and the LGBTQ+ community. All of us at Warner Chappell are thrilled they’ve entrusted us with their music and look forward to a wonderful journey ahead,” he adds.

Last year, Jesse & Joy initiated Pride Month with the release of their single “Love (Es Nuestro Idioma),” which spotlights love being a universal language. Both the song and video celebrated Pride Month and was a previous presentation for LGBTI organization Yaaj Mexico.

“The Warner Chappell team has done an impressive job amplifying Latin music on a global scale. They’re a publisher we trust and we look forward to our partnership together,” notes Jesse & Joy.

Calling their 15-year trajectory “impressive” and “at the top of their game,” Gustavo Menendez, president, Latin America, Warner Chappell Music, adds: “Their bicultural sound and style have earned them No. 1 hits, but more importantly, connected them with fans across the world who find comfort and joy in their music.”

The Latin Grammy and Grammy-award winning duo, known for hits such as “¡Corre!,” ”Dueles,” and “Espacio Sideral,” are currently nominated for four Premio Lo Nuestro awards including pop group or duo of the year and album of the year for Aire.

Chesca Teams Up with De La Ghetto for Steamy “Como Tu Me Querias” Remix

Chesca is getting a Ghetto-fabulous assist…

Only three months after releasing “Como Tu Me Querias,” the Puerto Rican singer has joined voices with De La Ghetto for a saucy remix.

Chesca x De La Ghetto

The track tells the story of a good girl whose looks are deceiving and falls for the bad boy in town. Cue De La Geezy, the bad boy, who brings his distinguishable voice and seductive lyrics to the track.

“Como Tu Me Querias” is an infectious, uptempo reggaeton with hints of old-school perreo and dancehall melodies.

The music video, filmed by Mimi Labisi of Stellarhead in LA, shows both artists’ onscreen chemistry in a futuristic and vibrant setting. Chesca is also seen flaunting her killer dance moves.

Chesca, who’s a two-time nominee at the 2021 Premio Lo Nuestro, crowned Billboard’s Latin Airplay chart on December 12, 2020, with her Pitbull and Frankie Valli-assisted “Te Quiero Baby.”

Jencarlos Canela Teams Up with Pitbull for Dancetastic Single “Cosita Linda”

Jencarlos Canela has a new pretty little thing

The 32-year-old Cuban American singer/actor has joined voices with Pitbull for the high octane single “Cosita Linda.”

Jencarlos Canela

The track, penned by Jencarlos and Cuban newcomer Lenier, tells the story of a man who’s out to conquer the girl of his dreams.

“Everything that’s yours is for me/ I’ll give you whatever you want/ Everything that’s mine is for you/ We’ll do whatever you want,” the catchy chorus says in Spanish.

In true Miami fashion, the song, helmed by producers IAmChino and Mauro and released under Pitbull’s record label Mr. 305 Records, is almost four minutes of pure fiesta, fusing Cuban rumba, sensual reggaeton and romantic flamenco guitar riffs.

A music video directed by David Rousseau features both artists having the time of their lives in the heart of the Miami nightlife and beaches.

In addition to “Cosita Linda,” Pitbull is a three-time nominee at the 2021 Premio Lo Nuestro, and Jencarlos will soon premiere his next movie alongside Kevin Hart.

Sebastian Yatra & Guaynaa Team Up for “Chica Ideal,” a Remake of Latin Dreams’ Hit Single “Quiero Una Chica”

Sebastian Yatra has found his ideal woman…

For his 26th birthday, the Colombian singer and songwriter decided to celebrate with new music, recruiting his good friend Guaynaa for witty and flirtatious lyrics.

Sebastian Yatra & Guaynaa

Coined “Chica Ideal,” Yatra and Guaynaa have joined voices for a fresh twist on the 2003 hit “Quiero Una Chica” by Latin Dreams.

“I’m in love with every single part of the song,” Yatra tells Billboard. “It was worth taking the risk because the original song is pure joy and happiness and has that touch of nostalgia that takes you back to your best days.”

Produced by Ovy on the Drums, Yatra elaborates on why Guaynaa was the best fit for this collaboration. “I went to one of his showcases during Premio Lo Nuestro, and his energy onstage drove me crazy. His vibe, his originality. I had to work with him,” he expressed. “It’s so amazing to do this song in the way we did it and the way Guaynaa sings in it.”

In the music video, Yatra and Guaynaa are seen playing basketball in the year 2020 with a group of people wearing masks. After losing the ball and searching for it in the woods, they wind up at a lit pool party (pandemic-free) in the year 2021.

The release of “Chica Ideal” marks a new stage in Yatra’s personal life and career, which he says have evolved because of the global health crisis. “When I sum up my year, I think it’s all been very positive if you look at it from the right perspective,” he concludes.

Paloma Mami Teams Up with Major Lazer for Hot New Single “QueLoQue”

It’s a Major moment for Paloma Mami

The 20-year-old Chilean-American singer has joined voices with Major Lazer on the steamy new single “QueLoQue.”

Paloma Mami

The urbano track, which features inflections of merengue, has apparently been in development for some time.

“‘QueLoQue’ has been in the works for a while now and I’m so happy to finally be able to share it with you all,” says Paloma Mami. “It has a fire energy to it with some elements of old school reggaeton and mixing it with that electronic touch from Major Lazer = PALO!”

The song is the latest preview of Major Lazer’s upcoming album Music Is The Weapon, which comes out on October 23.

Paloma Mami, a two-time Premio Lo Nuestro nominee, has previously released the singles “Goteo,” “Mami,” and “No Te Debi Besar,” featuring C. Tangana.

J Balvin

The track takes Digital Gainer honors on the chart, climbing 78 percent (to 5,000 downloads sold in the week ending Feb. 22, according to Nielsen Music), fueled in part by a performance of the song on Univision‘s Premio Lo Nuestro awards show on February 19, where he took home four awards, including urban artist of the year.

A recently released remix featuring Nicky Jam and French Montana, along with a price reduction (to 69 cents) as part of a digital promotion, also helps the track leap 11-4 on the Latin Digital Songs chart.

On Hot Latin Songs, “Ay Vamos” had spent 10 nonconsecutive weeks stuck at No. 2 on the list, unable to break his tourmate Enrique Iglesias‘ impenetrable 41-week record No. 1 run with “Bailando” featuring Descemer Bueno & Gente de Zona. A week ago, “Bailando” finally fell (1-2), as Mana‘s “Mi Verdad” bowed atop the list. At the same time, “Ay Vamos” slipped 2-4 — to its lowest rank since the Nov. 29-dated chart. But thanks to its surge in sales, the song finally crowns the list with its three-spot leap.

“Ay Vamos,” from Balvin’s La Familia B Sides (released Sept. 16), also earlier spent 16 weeks at No. 1 on Latin Rhythm Airplay (first peaking on Oct. 25), tying with Don Omar‘s “Zumba” for fourth-longest No. 1 run on the chart. It currently continues at No. 2 (with a 10 percent jump in airplay — to 7.7 million audience impressions, according to Nielsen).

Balvin is a 12-time finalist at the upcoming 2015 Billboard Latin Music Awards, airing live on Telemundo from Miami on April 30. He’s a finalist in such categories as artist of the year, new; and hot Latin song of the year for “6 AM” (featuring Farruko). He’ll be speaking at the 2015 Billboard Latin Music Conference.
