Cardi B’s decision to hit the stage comes a month after the “Bodak Yellow” singer pulled out of Bruno Mars‘ 24K Magic World Tour to focus on motherhood.

Not only am I just not ready physically, I’m not ready to leave my baby behind since the doctors explained it’s not healthy for her to be on the road,” she said.

Cardi B, who, along with The Carters, leads the pack of MTV VMAs nominees with 10 nominations.

Along with Cardi B, Nicki Minaj, Travis ScottPost Malone, Logic, Ariana Grande, Shawn Mendes and this year’s Michael Jackson Vanguard recipient Jennifer Lopez will grace the stage too.

Cardi B Named to Forbes’ Hip-Hop’s Future Moguls List

The (hip-hop) future looks bright for Cardi B

The 25-year-old half-Dominican American rapper, who has a monstrous 2017 fueled by her Billboard Hot 100-topping single “Bodak Yellow,” has been named to Forbes magazine’s Hip-Hop’s Future Moguls list.

Cardi B

The list represents hip-hop’s new class of moneymakers, with Cardi B joining Post Malone, Lil Pump and 21 Savage as some of this year’s honorees.

Formerly known as Hip-Hop Cash Princes, Forbes renamed the original male-centered roundup o Hip-Hop Future Moguls as a push towards inclusivity and diversity, broadening this year’s criteria to include “age, ethnicity and gender,” making way for artists like Cardi B and Lizzo to appear on the list.

Cardi B enters the Hip-Hop Future Moguls list thanks to the success of breakout hit “Bodak Yellow,” which sat atop the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 1 for three consecutive weeks and made the Bronx rapper the first female rapper to top the chart solo.

With her gargantuan hit “Bodak Yellow,” which clocked more than 400 million on-demand streams—the fifth highest total for any song this year—she’s now grossing $150,000 or so per city on the road.

Detroit rapper Lizzo and producer Wondagurl are also featured on the list.

Vic MensaPlayboi Carti and Lil Pump also make Forbes‘ list.

Cardi B & Ozuna Release Music Video for Their Chill Collaboration “La Modelo”

Cardi B is switching tongues…

The 25-year-old half Dominican American rapper has joined voices with 25-year-old Puerto Rican reggaeton and Latin trap singer Ozuna to release the music video to their collaboration “La Modelo.”

Cardi B & Ozuna

In the clip, which was filmed in Jamaica, Cardi B and Ozuna throw a grandiose house party in a breezy, all-white island villa. It’s a daring departure from the usual booming trap beats Cardi B usually unleashes, but the chill vibes are an enjoyable change of pace.

Cardi B sings much of the song in Spanish, but switches back to English midway through the track to deliver some of her mad rap lines.

Cardi B’s having a breathrough year, and now she can check off a Spanish-sung reggaeton track off her list.

Ozuna, meantime, most recently appeared on Post Malone‘s remix for “Rockstar” in order to re-up the hit with some needed vitality.

Cardi B and Ozuna are a good match on “La Modelo,” with Ozuna’s laid back style clearly rubbing off on Cardi B, giving her performance some impressive subtlety.
