Camila Cabello Announces New Collaboration with Lil Nas X Titled “He Knows”

Camila Cabello is in the know(s)…

The 27-year-old Mexican & Cuban singer and former Fifth Harmony member has announced a new collaboration with Lil Nas X titled “He Knows” via her Instagram account.

Camila Cabello, Lil Nas XIt’s all part of the lead up to the release of her upcoming album, C,XOXO, her third album.

“SHE’S A PROVOCATEUR, DANCEFLOOR CONNOISSEUR,” she captioned a close-up photo that was seemingly taken at the Met Gala earlier in the week, in which Lil Nas X is seen embracing Cabello with a perfectly manicured hand complete with acrylic nails and sparkling jewels.

In the caption, Cabello noted that “He Knows” will be arriving on Friday, May 10.

On Monday (May 6), the pop star took to social media to announce her fourth solo album, C,XOXO, alongside the cover art which features a shot of the “Havana” singer with her recently dyed blonde hair, licking a blue lollipop and looking into the camera. In the caption, she reveals that the project arrives on June 28.

Here’s a link to the post.

Cabello’s new project will be the follow-up to her April 2022 LP Familia, which reached No. 10 on the Billboard 200 upon its release. The record featured singles “Don’t Go Yet” and “Bam Bam” with Ed Sheeran, which peaked at Nos. 42 and No. 21 on the Billboard Hot 100, respectively.

Earlier this year, Cabello introduced her new album era with the Playboi Carti-assisted “I Luv It,” which samples Gucci Mane’s “Lemonade” and finds her interpolating Rihanna.

Camila Cabello Releases New Playboy Carti-Collab “I Luv It”

Camila Cabello is spreading the luv

The 27-year-old Mexican and Cuban singer/songwriter has released her latest single “I Luv It,” a collaboration with Playboi Carti.

Camila Cabello,On the high-octane track, Cabello repeats the titular phrase breathlessly as synths whirr around her words, then a sample of Gucci Mane’s classic single “Lemonade” drops, before Playboi Carti slides in to mumble some game before the single collapses.

The track is the first release from Cabello’s forthcoming album, which is set for release this summer.

In the music video to “I Luv It,” directed by Nicolás Méndez at CANADA, Cabello appears to be in her villain era as she pours herself a glass of gasoline and drinks it, is chased by the police dogs and seemingly fantasizes about taking a gun and destroying her bed by firing bullets — all due to a broken heart.

In the end, Cabello is in a hospital waiting room after an arrow was shot through her heart.

“Certain things in our human realm do make me feel like I’m in outer space, and the very rare few times where I’ve had incredible chemistry with someone is one of them,” she said in a press release.

Adding, “Part of that cocktail is also the emotional drama between you and that person, and the chaos and butterflies and nerves and passion. It’s unsustainable and not peaceful and exhausting, but also, I LUV IT.”
