Rosa Salazar to Appear at This Year’s PaleyFest Fall TV Previews Event

The 34-year-old Latina actress is set to appear at the Paley Center for Media’s 13th annual PaleyFest Fall TV Previews

The fest will take place on September 5-15 at the Paley Centerin Beverly Hills and feature new shows from the fall 2019 television season as well as returning favorites from broadcast, cable and streaming services. 

As an added bonus, the Paley Center in New York will host free PaleyFest Fall TV Previews screenings on September 6-8.

The event will feature screenings of new shows like Salazar’s Amazon series Undone, which will have its special screening on Friday, September 6, 2019. Salazar will then participate in a conversation with fellow cast members Angelique Cabral and Constance Marie, as well as series creators and executive producers Kate Purdy & Raphael Bob-Waksberg, and director Hisko Hulsing.

Undone, an adult animated dramedy series, explores “the elastic nature of reality” through its central character, Alma (Salazar). After getting into a near fatal car accident, Alma discovers she has a new relationship with time and uses this ability to find out the truth about her father’s death.

But Salazar, Cabral and Constance Marie aren’t the only Hispanic talent scheduled to appear.

Jessica Camacho and Lindsay Mendez are scheduled to appear alongside their All Rise cast mates on Thursday, September 12. 

Hailing from CBS, the legal dramatakes a look inside the chaotic, hopeful and sometimes absurd lives of judges, prosecutors and public defenders as they work with bailiffs, clerks and cops to get justice for the people of Los Angeles amidst a flawed legal process.

Meanwhile, Izabella AlvarezCarlos Alazraqui and Sonia Manzano will appear on the panel for Nickelodeon’s animated series The Casagrandes preview screening and conversation on Sunday, September 15.

A spin-off of The Loud House created by Chris SavinoThe Casagrandes centers on Ronnie Anne and Bobby Santiago as they adjust to their new life in Great Lakes City where they now live with their big, loving and chaotic multi-generational Casagrande family.

Annable to Appear at This Year’s PaleyFest Fall TV Previews

The Paley Center for Media’s 10th PaleyFest Fall TV Previews lineup has been revealed, with the 31-year-old half-Cuban American actress among this year’s panelists.

The weeklong event will take place September 8 to 13 in Los Angeles, and offer screenings and panels for major new fall series, including CBSPure Genius, starring Annabele.

CBS will screen its highly anticipated medical drama, which was created by Jason Katims and stars Dermot Mulroney, on Monday, September 12 at 7:00 pm. Afterwards, the network will host a special panel discussion with the show’s cast members and executive producers.

PaleyFest Fall TV Previews offers TV enthusiasts a chance to view highly anticipated fall programs through premiere screenings and exclusive conversations with TV’s most-talked about stars and creators,” said Maureen J. Reidy, president and CEO of the Paley Center for Media. “The Paley Center’s public programs allow fans access to never-before-seen content in an intimate and exciting way, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to present our tenth annual line-up.”

For those unable to get out to Beverly Hills, the Paley Center in New York will have free screenings on September 10 and 11, and official media sponsor Hulu will be putting up clips and recorded versions of the panels later in the month.

Smollett & His Empire Castmates to Appear at This Year’s PaleyFest Los Angeles

Jussie Smollett is bringing his Empire to this year’s PaleyFest…

Fox’s hip-hop drama Empire, starring the 32-year-old Brazilian American actor/singer, will make its debut at the 33rd annual PaleyFest Los Angeles in March, headlining the lineup unveiled by the Paley Center for Media.

Smollet will be joined onstage by the show’s leads Terrence Howard and newly minted Golden Globe winner Taraji P. Henson and other cast members, as well as creators Lee Daniels and Danny Strong and executive producer Ilene Chaiken.

Empire will be joined by panels featuring the casts and creators of FX’s anthology  Starz drama Power, which launches it third season in June; and Fox’s freshman Scream Queens.

Also on the schedule this year: Fear The Walking Dead on March 19 and ABC’s Scandal on March 15.

This year’s William S. Paley Television Festival runs March 11-20 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

The 30-year-old Puerto Rican actress, who won her first-ever Golden Globe winner last month for her performance on Jane the Virgin, will make an appearance at this year’s PaleyFest, sponsored by the Paley Center for Media.

Rodriguez and her cast mates, including Andrea Nevado, Jamie Camil, Ivonne Coll and Justin Baldoni, will take part in a special presentation to speak about the acclaimed CW series, which earned a Golden Globe nomination for Best Comedy Series.

The Jane the Virgin panel presentation will take place on Sunday, March 15 at 4:00 pm at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

PaleyFest is a must-see pop cultural event produced by the Paley Center that brings fans together with the talent behind their favorite shows. The audience enjoys episodes or highlights of the featured work, followed by panel discussions and Q&A sessions.

But Rodriguez and her Jane the Virgin cast members aren’t the only Latinos to take center stage…

Guillermo Diaz, who portrays Huck on ABC’s Scandal, will take part in the show’s presentation on Sunday, March 8 at 7:00 pm.

NBC Releases New Teaser Poster for “Revolution” Featuring Pardo

If you’re feeling JD Pardo and Revolution withdrawals, here’s something to hold you over…

NBC has released the latest teaser poster for the hit sci-fi series, featuring the 32-year-old Latino actor and the rest of his cast mates walking against a desolate backdrop.

But if that weren’t enough, the poster features General Monroe and Captain Tom Neville’s images in the clouds hovering menacingly over the heroes.

Revolution returns with new episodes next month, beginning on Monday, March 25.

Before then, Pardo and his cast mates will be participating at this year’s PaleyFest in Los Angeles on Saturday, March 2.

Pardo to Participate at This Year’s PaleyFest

“You say you want a Revolution…” And J.D. Pardo and his fellow Revolution cast mates are ready to deliver.

The 32-year-old Latino actor, Daniella Alonso and several members of the cast of NBC’s freshman post-apocalyptic sci-fi drama series will appear at the 30th annual The William S. Paley Television Festival, PaleyFest.

Pardo, Alonso and the gang will be panelists at the TV fan fest on Saturday, March 2 at 7:00 pm PT at a discussion moderated by TV Guide’s LA Bureau Chief Michael Schneider.

But Pardo and Alonso aren’t the only Latinos who’ll appear at the Paleyfest, which takes place from March 1-15 at the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills.

Once Upon a Time’s Lana Parrilla will be one of the panelists at ABC’s fairy tale drama’s panel on Sunday, March 3; DallasJordana Brewster and Julie Gonzalo will participate in the TNT series’ panel on Sunday, March 10.
