Produced by Cárdenas Marketing Network (CMN), J Balvin’s 25-date Jose trek is set to kick off April 19 in San Antonio’s AT&T Center and wrap up June 4 at El Coliseo de Puerto Rico — with stops in Las Vegas, Miami and New York.

“I think he’s in the best moment of his life,” Henry Cárdenas, CEO of CMN, tells Billboard. “Between Balvin and CMN, we’re going to sell out.”

J Balvin has grossed more than $20 million and sold over 300,000 tickets, according to figures reported to Billboard Boxscore.

His new set — home to 24 tracks including the Grammy Award-nominated “Un Día (One Day)”  and “Qué Más Pues?” — follows Balvin’s 2020 Colores, which peaked No. 2 on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart and at No. 15 on the Billboard 200.

The “Que Locura” singer has been busy this year releasing a handful of singles, jumping on star-studded remixes and slowly returning to live shows with sporadic performances at festivals such as Baja Beach Fest in Mexico and Neon Experience in Las Vegas, an event curated by the artist himself featuring artists such as Karol G, Nio Garcia and Jowell & Randy.

Most recently, Balvin logged his 31st No. 1 on Billboard‘s Latin Airplay chart thanks to the ’90s dance hit-interpolated, Skrillex-assisted “In Da Getto,” tying him with Enrique Iglesias for the most leaders in the chart’s history.

J Balvin is a nine-time finalist at the 2021 Billboard Latin Music Awards. He’s garnered four nods for “Ritmo (Bad Boys for Life),” the blockbuster track with Black Eyed Peas, and is also up for artist of the year.

Tickets will be available for presale September 13 at 12:00 pm local time and for general sale on September 17 through TicketmasterAXSSeatGeekEvenko.ca and Ticketerapr.com.

J Balvin to Launch “Neón Experience” in September, Alongside Big Name Guest Stars

Things are looking brighter for J Balvin, and he’s sharing that outlook with some big names…

The 35-year-old Colombian reggaeton singer is heading to Las Vegas in September for a weekend of experiences and performances he’s dubbed his “Neón Experience.” And, he’s invited Karol G, Jhay Cortez, Rauw Alejandro, Jowell & Randy and producers Tainy and Sky Rompiendo.

Also included in his roster of events will be DJ Alex Sensation, Cornetto, DJ Pope, Agudelo888 and Matt Paris and La Gabi, the first two artists Balvin signed to his own label.

The Neón Experience will take place in Las Vegas during Mexican Independence Weekend, September 16-19, which traditionally has been a huge weekend for Latin music in Vegas, typically featuring big stars playing arena shows.

Balvin’s event, coming in the wake of the pandemic, is something else entirely. Capped at just 3,000 tickets, the three days and nights of events are being curated by Balvin and will include a headlining concert with him.

Different “experiences” will take place in various locales in the new Resorts World Las Vegas, including its entertainment venues Zouk Nightclub and Ayu Dayclub.

The centerpiece of the event is a 90-minute concert headlined by Balvin where, for the first time, he’ll sing the songs from his Colores album live.

“It’s the first event we’ve announced since the pandemic,” says manager Fabio Acosta, noting Balvin’s last concert was more than a year ago. “He will curate the entire weekend, down to the artists and themes. It’s the first time we do an event like this.”

Neón is presented by Pollen Presents, an event production company that develops and produces unique “experiences” in different locations around the world.

They include two upcoming Latin music experiences: Nicky Jam Jamworld, taking place May 13-16 in Miami, and Ozuna Cancún fest, taking place May 20-24 in Cancún.
