Last fall, Jennifer Lopez and Enrique Iglesias joined voices on the single “Mouth 2 Mouth”… And now they’re preparing to join forces to co-headline a North American tour.
The 42-year-old Puerto Rican singer/actress and 36-year-old Spanish singer/songwriter have announced plans for a 16-city concert tour this summer, with more dates to be announced soon.
“I’m so excited to be spending this summer out on the road,” said Iglesias in a statement. “There is no better feeling than being out on stage in front of all my fans.”
Meanwhile, Wisin Y Yandel—who recently collaborated with Lopez on the track “Follow the Leader”—will open for the American Idol judge and Iglesias on the tour.
“We are going to give you everything we got,” Lopez said. “I think it’s going to be one of the most historic tours ever. Because I don’t know that there has ever been something … where these Latinos have come together like this as family.”
Promoted by AEG Live, the tour will kick off in Montreal on July 14. Tickets go on sale this Friday.
