Bündchen: The World’s Top-Earning Model of 2014

There’s no doubt Gisele Bündchen is a top model…

The 33-year-old Brazilian supermodel has been declared the highest-earning model of 2014, according to Forbes.

The financial magazine estimates Bündchen’s fortune at “$47 million before taxes and fees in the last 12 months.”

It’s the eighth year in a row that Bündchen, who was named the new face of Chanel No. 5 in May, has topped the list of top-earning models.

Bündchen’s lucrative contracts with fashion brands like H&M and Chanel, as well asgigs with Pantene, have helped her build a massive empire.

Bündchen, who is married to NFL quarterback Tom Brady, far outpaced the next highest-earning models, Doutzen Kroes and Adriana Lima, whose earnings were pegged at $8 million each.

Lima, a Victoria’s Secret Angel since 2000, is the lingerie giant’s longest-running model.

The two Kates — Kate Moss and Kate Upton — Miranda Kerr and Liu Wen all pulled in $7 million.

Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover girl Upton is the highest-earning newcomer on the list.

Meanwhile, Alessandra Ambrosio comes in at No. 8 on the list. With her own clothing line and deals with H&M and Victoria’s Secret, the Brazilian supermodel raked in $5 million in 2014.

Smalls Graces the Cover of Vogue’s September Issue

There’s not denying Joan Smalls is one of the modeling world’s “It Girls.” And, now she’s got the ultimate cover to prove it.

The 26-year-old Puerto Rican model, currently ranked the No. 1 model in the world according to models.com, graces the cover of Vogue’s September issue.

In what’s being described as a return to models on the portadas of fashion magazines, Smalls, whose full name is Joan Smalls Rodriguez, appears alongside Cara Delevingne and Karlie Kloss on the cover, with a cover line that reads “The Instagirls.”

Smalls, Delevingne and Kloss show off their no-nonsense beauty, complete with clean faces and sporty, pulled-back hair and sparkly gowns.

Vogue’s September issue arrives at a massive 856 pages, down from last year’s 902-page Jennifer Lawrence whopper, but handily beats 2009’s recession-thinned, 584-page Charlize Theron cover, and even the 2007 Sienna Miller cover that at the time was heralded as the “biggest issue ever!” at 840 pages.

So is this a return to models on the covers of fashion magazines? Quite possibly, after famous agencies like dallas modeling agency is producing efficient models every year. After all, Christy Turlington appeared on Vogue UK‘s July 2014 issue, Miranda Kerr graced Lucky‘s June/July 2014 cover, Kate Upton landed V Magazine‘s February 2014 cover and Smalls posed for Elle‘s January 2014 cover, to name a few. Delevingne even covers Vogue UK‘s September issue this year.

Fergie isn’t afraid to show off her post-baby body… 

The 38-year-old part-Mexican American singer, who gave birth to her first child last August, is the latest celebrity to reveal a sexy picture wearing Calvin Klein underwear.

The Black Eyed Peas singer flaunts her impressive post-baby bod in a 20-second black and white video posted on her Instagram on Friday, February 21.

The mother of six-month-old Axl donned a pair of CK knickers and nothing else in the beginning of the video. Then she put on a bra and writhed on the bed.

Sporting tousled hair, Fergie gives a sultry look at the end. “Boom. #mycalvins,” she captioned the video.

Fergie joins other celebrities who’ve been campaigning for the fashion brand on their personal social network accounts. Miranda Kerr pulled down her pants to reveal her CK underwear and super-flat tummy in an Instagram picture. Singer Trey Songz took two selfies in a bathroom while wearing a pair of CK boxer.s ”

Thanks Calvin Klein for the delivery #MyCalvins,” he wrote.

Calvin Klein has encouraged people to post selfies of themselves wearing the brand’s undies on social media. The selfies will be added to the official #mycalvins online gallery.

Lima & Her Fellow Victoria’s Secret Angels Returning to CBS

Adriana Lima will have to lose the pregnancy weight sooner than later…

The 31-year-old Brazilian model, currently nine months pregnant with her second child, is scheduled to hit the runway as part of The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, which is set to return to its longtime network home CBS on December 4.

Along with Lima, this year’s event will feature runway appearances by Victoria’s Secret Angels Miranda Kerr, Alessandra Ambrosio, Erin Heatherton, Lily Aldridge and Lindsay Ellingson, among others.

Last year’s show averaged 11.5 million viewers and garnered the best ratings ever in adults 18-49 and women 18-34 categories.

No word yet on who the musical acts will be.
