Chencho Corleone is seeing green…
The 44-year-old Puerto Rican singer, songwriter and record producer has teamed up with Sprite Puerto Rico for a limited edition can.
The soft drink brandy announced the collaboration with the former member of the duo Plan B as part of its commitment to support the continued development of the urban genre on the island.
“I am very happy with the launch of this collaboration with Sprite, a brand that stands out for its support of urban music, and I hope that my fans do not miss this unique opportunity to acquire this collectible can,” said the interpreter of the single “Me porto bonito” along with Bad Bunny.
The Sprite brand’s relationship in Puerto Rico with urban music has been close for the past few years. That’s why the collaboration with Chencho represents an opportunity to celebrate the successful career of one of the movement’s most outstanding figures.
At the same time, Sprite consumers will have the opportunity to get up close in a refreshing way to an artist who has consistently stood out for representing the essence of the urban genre, both locally and abroad.
“Everything we do with Sprite is genuine. Our alliance with Chencho Corleone stems from the pride we feel for an artist who continues to develop his career within urban music, impacting generations of followers. This is something we can only do when the admiration is real,” said Michelle Serrano, Sprite’s senior brand manager in Puerto Rico.
Serrano added that: “just as Sprite quenches the consumer’s thirst with its refreshing flavor, Chencho Corleone’s music satisfies the desire for innovative rhythms and musical hits, to together form an unstoppable force that leaves you wanting more.”
The alliance also includes a special promotion with a QR code on the Sprite can with exclusive access to a playlist created by Chencho himself.
The limited edition tin is only available in Puerto Rico.
