Prince Royce is ready to run…
The 28-year-old Dominican American bachata singer will be joining the Fitbit Marathon and Half Marathon in Miami on January 28, where he’ll compete with 25,000 other runners.
He’ll be running both the Tropical 5k, which takes place Saturday, and Sunday’s Miami Marathon.
Additionally, Prince Royce will be honored with the title of Grand Marshal of the race.
But this isn’t Royce’s first major race.
He ran the New York City Marathon in November. The Bronx native picked up running in 2017 after a cousin challenged him to get in more cardio. Six months later, he did his first marathon.
“My experience last year with the New York Marathon impressed and inspired me to participate once again in these types of challenges,” Royce said in a statement.
