Mariah Careywill be mealin’ and dealin’ this holiday season…
The half-Venezuelan American Grammy-winning singer, the self-proclaimed Queen of Christmas, is planning to spread holiday cheer with some help from McDonald’s.
The fast food giant and the “All I Want For Christmas Is You” singer revealed a collaboration not in the form of a special meal like J Balvin, Saweetie and BTS have done previously, but an entire menu with goodies for 12 days leading up to Christmas.
“This holiday season at @McDonalds, you’re not getting the Mariah meal… you’re getting a whole menu!” the singer wrote on Twitter. “Introducing The Mariah Menu: get free daily deals w/ $1 min purchase December 13 to 24, only in the app dahhling!”
The free items include a variety of classic sandwiches like the Big Mac, cheeseburger or McChicken as well as popular breakfast items, sweet treats and McNuggets. The promotion is limited to one per day so fans everywhere can experience holiday cheer. The promo is available only at participating McDonald’s nationwide.
“Some of my favorite memories with my kids are our family trips to McDonald’s, and of course, each of us has our go-to order. Mine is the Cheeseburger, and I get it with extra pickles,” Carey said in a press release for the announcement. “Bringing together some of our favorite food from McDonald’s with my all-time favorite season is a holiday wish come true.”
“Mariah goes with the holidays like ketchup and fries, so we couldn’t think of a better partner to help us celebrate the upcoming season,” said Jennifer Healan, vice president, U.S. marketing, brand content and engagement of McDonald’s USA. “Just like McDonald’s brings people around the table with their favorite orders, Mariah’s music connects us all during this time of the year. We’re so excited to team up to bring even more holiday cheer to our fans.”

This is Carey’s most recent effort to get her fans ready for Christmas — she released a new Christmas single, “Fall In Love at Christmas” featuring Khalid and Kirk Franklin, 50 days before Christmas’ arrival last week. Fans voted in a poll published Friday (November 5) on Billboard, and chose the track as their favorite new music release of the past week.
Mariah Careyis helping educate women on better ways to make money moves…
The 52-year-old half-Venezuelan American Grammy-winning songstress has revealed her partnership with the cryptocurrency platform Gemini, which aims to educate and inspire women to make better investments.
Founded by Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss, Gemini is used to buy, sell, earn and store more than 50 cryptocurrencies, like bitcoin.
A portion of trading fees investors use with the code “Mariah” and through the link gemini.com/mariah will be donated to BlackGirlsCode — a not-for-profit organization that introduces young women of color to tech and skills in computer programming and technology.
Tyler Winklevoss shared his enthusiasm and strategy behind the collaboration with the pop superstar, saying, “It’s great to see Mariah and other celebrities discover bitcoin as an investment and hedge against inflation. Cryptos like bitcoin and ether were two of the best performing assets of the last decade. Our goal at Gemini is to help educate you on the promise of crypto and make it simple, easy, and safe for you to engage in this new asset class.”
Carey credited Gemini’s free resources for her education in better investment skills using cryptocurrency in a video on Instagram.
The Winklevoss twins were portrayed in the 2010 film The Social Network, where they were both portrayed by Armie Hammer as Mark Zuckerberg‘s classmates who accuse him of stealing the idea for Facebook from them.

Mariah Angeliq Perez is havin’ the time of her life…
The 19-year-old Puerto Rican and Cuban American singer, one of Billboard’s 10 Artists to Watch earlier this year, has been named as the brand ambassador for Bulova’s “Tune of Time” campaign.
The Miami-based artist flaunts her Caribbean roots in the nearly two-minute spot. Mariah is seen walking around some of Miami’s tourist spots, including Calle Ocho, Miami Beach, and the famed 24-hour Nicaraguan restaurant, El Yambo, which is owned by her grandfather.
“I’m super proud to be from Miami. 305 till’ I die,” the “Perreito” singer says in the clip. “And I’m Latina. Puerto Rican and Cuban. That’s just a dope mix.”
“Mariah, as a young and talented emerging artist, amplifies some of the core values that Bulova holds: being innovative and breaking barriers,” a Bulova brand representative tells Billboard. “Alongside its ‘Tune of Time’ campaign, Bulova ties in their ‘History of Firsts’ message, celebrating a moment in a person’s life that is remembered forever. In this case, Mariah touches on the first time she realized she wanted to pursue a career in music.”
The watch brand launched the new short-form video series “Tune of Time” to spotlight some of today’s most promising emerging musical artists under the mentorship of the legendary Nile Rodgers.
According to the website, the partnership is “a new reflection of our deep commitment to music, established by Bulova’s ongoing partnerships with the Grammyawards, Latin Recording Academy, and Grammy Museum, and the recognition that music underscores many of life’s most memorable moments.”
