Cameron Diaz Featured in Zoe Bell’s Kick-A “Boss Bitch Fight Challenge” Video

There’s no denying Cameron Diazis a boss b$tch… And, now there’s a video to prove it.

Actress and stuntwoman extraordinaire Zoe Bell has created a full-out, virtual battle royale featuring the most badass actresses and stuntwomen of Hollywood, including the 47-year-old half-Cuban American actress.

Bell’s video is appropriately called Boss Bitch Fight Challenge.

“I’m so bored! I just want to play with my friends!” she proclaims as she tries to liven things up during her quarantine with five minutes of virtual fisticuffs.

Similar to a viral video made by stuntmen, the ladies show the men how it’s really done as Bell stitches together vignettes of an all-star, blink-and-you’ll-miss-them roster of women serving us some action-packed, fighting moves.

It starts with Bell and we quickly see actresses like Halle Berry kick some tail, as well as Scarlett Johansson and her fellow Black Widow starFlorence Pugh step into action. Margot Robbiemakes use of her Harley Quinnbat while Charlie’s Angelsalums Drew Barrymoreand Diaz jump into the brawl. Warner Bros. has released a new trailer for Birds of Prey starring the 55-year-old Puerto Rican actress.

Director Cathy Yan’s feature film debut is actually called Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) and, as the title suggests, the superhero action is geared more toward Deadpool’s deadpan humor than The Dark Knightbleakness.

The spotlight is on Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), the fan-favorite Suicide Squad wild-child who teams with Renee Montoya (Perez), the Huntress (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) and Black Canary (Jurnee Smollet-Bell). The cast also includes Ella Jay Basco as Cassandra Cain.

The gang will clash with Ewan McGregor as the ruthless crime boss called the Black Mask. 

Birds of Prey will open in theaters on February 7.

Lorenza Izzo to Star in Quentin Tarantino’s “Once Upon a Time In Hollywood”

The 28-year-old Chilean actress and model has landed a role in the Quentin Tarantino-helmed film Once Upon a Time In Hollywood.

Starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt, the film visits 1969 Los Angeles, where one-time TV star Rick Dalton (DiCaprio) and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth (Pitt) make their way in an industry they hardly recognize anymore. The plot features multiple storylines in a tribute to the final moments of Hollywood’s golden age.

The large ensemble cast also includes Margot Robbie, Timothy Olyphant, Luke Perry, Damian Lewis, Dakota FanningAl Pacino, Emile Hirsch, Clifton Collins Jr., Tim Roth, Michael Madsen, Scoot McNairy, Keith Jefferson and Nicholas Hammond.

Tarantino,David Heyman and Shannon McIntosh are producers on the film, which is slated for release July 26.

Izzo recurs in the final season of Hulu’s Casual series and appears in Universal Pictures’ The House with a Clock in Its Walls.

Once Upon a Time takes place in Los Angeles in 1969, at the height of hippie Hollywood. Both are struggling to make it in a Hollywood they don’t recognize anymore. But Rick has a very famous next-door neighbor: Sharon Tate (Robbie).

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is produced by David Heyman, Tarantino and Shannon McIntosh.

Sony Pictureswill release the film on August 9, 2019.

Ismael Cruz Córdova to Star in the Period Drama “Mary, Queen of Scots”

The 30-year-old Puerto Rican actor has joined the cast of Working Title and Focus Features’ period drama Mary, Queen of Scots.

Josie Rourke is directing the film from a script by Beau Willimon, with Saoirse Ronan and Margot Robbie starring.

The story explores the turbulent life of the charismatic Mary Stuart (Ronan), Queen of France at 16 and widow at 18 who defies pressure to remarry. Instead, she returns to her native Scotland to reclaim her rightful throne, but Scotland and England fall under the rule of the compelling Elizabeth I.

Cordova will play the role of Rizzio, Mary’s confidant.

Production is underway in England and Scotland.

Cordova recently had a standout performance as the troubled boxer Hector Campos on Season 4 of Showtime’s Ray Donovan. He recently wrapped his role as the male lead opposite Gina Rodriguez in the Catherine Hardwicke-helmed remake Miss Bala and also appeared in Ang Lee’s Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk.

Warner Bros. has released a new trailer for Suicide Squad, starring the 44-year-old part-Spanish actor/singer, as anticipation builds for the supervillain film.

Trejo to Participate in This Year’s Red Nose Day Special on NBC

The fundraiser, which aims to help lift kids out of poverty, will be broadcast live on May 26 from 9:00 – 11:oo pm ET on NBC.

The special, hosted by Craig Ferguson, features comedy, musical performances and short films that shed light on children in need here at home and around the world.

The 44-year-old part-Spanish American actor/singer and his Suicide Squad co-stars Will Smith, Margot Robbie and Cara Delevingne took to the stage at the MTV Movie Awards to unveil the new trailer for the film.

Suicide Squad is the second (official) installment of the DC Extend Universe , following Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and, retroactively, Man of Steel.

The film sees a shady government spymaster assembling a team composed of the DC Universe’s worst criminals to take down an even greater evil. To keep them in line, the team members are implanted with “microbombs” in their heads set to go off if they try to flee or if they fail – the “succeed or die” requirement gives the squad its name.

The villainous good guys are led by Smith who plays DC villain Deadshot, Robbie as Harley Quinn, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Jay Hernandez as El Diablo, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc, and Cara Delevingne as The Enchantress.

The ensemble cast is rounded out by Leto as The Joker, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg, the military officer overseeing the team, Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, with Ike Barinholtz, and Scott Eastwood.

The film is written and directed by David Ayer and hits theaters August 5.
