Return this summer, the young adult sensation has already been renewed for a third season.

After Season 1’s launch in December 2023, it was quickly renewed for a sophomore season.

The second season will see Jackie Howard (Rodriguez) return to Silver Falls, Colorado after she abruptly left the small town where she lived briefly to spend the summer in New York City.

Season 1 watched Jackie move in with the Walters family, led by her late mother’s best friend Katherine Walter (Sarah Rafferty) after she lost both parents and her older sister Lucy in a tragic car accident. Katherine took Jackie in along with her nine sons and one daughter on the ranch that has been in her husband George’s (Marc Blucas) family for generations. While adjusting to life with a bustling, big family and a new high school, Jackie got caught up in a love triangle between brothers Cole (Noah LaLonde) and Alex (Ashby Gentry), two very different young men.

Nikki Rodriguez's "My Life With the Walter Boys"Season 2’s logline reads, “When Katherine convinces her to return to Colorado, Jackie is determined to make amends with Alex and set boundaries with Cole while finding her place within the Walter family. But fitting back in isn’t that easy. Alex – who changed a lot over the summer – isn’t too thrilled about Jackie’s attempts to reconnect, as he’s focused on training for a risky rodeo event (and enjoying all of the new attention he’s getting).”

Alex isn’t the only one who’s changed, either.

“Cole takes on a new role at school, but when that doesn’t quite fill the void left by not playing football, his old ways creep back in and cause drama,” the logline continues. “As Jackie gains acceptance in Silver Falls while trying to hold onto her Howard identity, she’s forced to make a choice that could destroy everything she’s worked to rebuild.”

Season 2 will also star Corey Fogelmanis as Nathan Walter, Connor Stanhope as Cole’s twin brother Danny Walter, Johnny Link as Will Walter, Jaylan Evans as Skylar, Zoë Soul as Hayley, Isaac Arellanes as Isaac, Myles Perez as Lee, Alex Quijano as Jackie’s Uncle Richard, Ashley Tavares as Tara, Dean Petriw as Jordan Walter, Elix West as Parker Walter and Lennix James as Benny Walter.

Alisha Newton will return as Erin alongside Ellie O’Brien as Grace, Kolton Stewart as Dylan, Mya Lowe as Kiley and Gabrielle Jacinto as Olivia.

Nathanial Arcand plays Mato and Jesse Lipscombe plays Coach Allen.

Newcomers this season will include Natalie Sharp (B. Hartford), Carson MacCormac (Zach), Janet Kidder (Joanne), Riele Downs (Maria), and Jake Manley (Wylder).

Kate del Castillo Starring in Womanhunt Thriller “Cold, Dead Hands”

The chase is on for Kate del Castillo

The 48-year-old Mexican actress and telenovela star has teamed up with former Netflix VP Erik Barmack to produce and star in the womanhunt thriller Cold, Dead Hands (working title).

Kate del Castillo

The film is set up at del Castillo’s Cholawood Productions, Barmack’s Wild Sheep Content and Top Dead Center Films, headed by Gary and Julie Auerbach, creators of the film.

Gary Auerbach directs the film, which went into production on January 4, shooting in Utah.

The film opens with del Castillo’s character waking up in a log cabin in deep forest, having been drugged and abducted. A message on a stereo tells her to press play.

“I’m a hunter,” a voice says, explaining she’s been placed there because she’s a “worthy prey.” There’s a snow mobile five miles from the cabin. If she makes it to that, she wins. There’s no civilization around and nothing in the cabin of value to her, the voice warns. But he’ll give her a couple of minutes heads start.

Co-starring Marc Blucas, the film naturally packs multiple twists and a backstory about why del Castillo’s character is such worthy prey and the moral choices she had to make to escape the first time round.

The movie is written by Julie Auerbach, as well as Kevin Tavolaro and co-written by Blucas.

This is “the story of a woman who lives through unspeakable hardships in her life yet she identifies as a survivor, not a victim,” del Castillo tells Variety, adding that her character shows “a tremendous amount of strength, courage, intelligence and compassion, all admirable traits innate to our culture” and that she “personally relates to this character particularly in how she overcomes her fears and refuses to let her past define her.”

The movie catches del Castillo coming off Bad Boys for Life, where she stars opposite Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, and del Castillo’s starring role on Season 2 of La Reina del Sur.

During its transmission, ending July 2019, the sophomore season kept Telemundo broadcast network among the top three networks in the U.S. regardless of language in the adults 18-49 and adults 18-34 demos in the 10 p.m. Monday-Friday berth.
