The 38-year-old part-Spanish actress, who plays Maze on Netflix’s drama series Lucifer, has signed with ICM Partners.
The Cape Town, South Africa-born actress began her career in New Zealand after her family immigrated there when she was in her teens. Her breakout role came in playing Naevia in Starz’s Spartacus: Gods of the Arena.
Brandt’s other television credits include Gotham, Single Ladies, The Librarians, Legend of the Seeker and Memphis Beat. She also co-starred in the 2013 surf film Drift.
Brandt’s Lucifer will return for a fifth season on August 21 on Netflix.
Netflix has released a trailer for Season 5 ofthe 41-year-old Puerto Rican and Mexican American actress’ series Lucifer,which will premiere on Friday, August 21.

Season 5 of the Warner Bros. Television-produced show, starring Tom Ellis as the Devil, will be split into two eight-part blocks of episodes. It was meant to be the show’s last season, but Netflix recently renewedLuciferfor a “FINAL final” sixth season.
In addition to Ellis and Garcia, who portrays Ella Lopez, the series also stars Kevin Alejandro as Detective Dan Espinoza, Lauren German and D.B. Woodside.
Netflix originally rescued the supernatural drama from Fox, where it was canceled in May 2018 after three seasons. The pickup followed a big #SaveLucifer campaign that played out on social media for more than a month.
The 41-year-old Puerto Rican and Mexican American actress and Lucifer star will executive produce and star in Match Me If You Can, a romantic comedy about the world of dating in today’s geek culture.
Marian Yeager is directing the film from a script by Betsy Morris.
Garcia, who’ll reprise her role as Ella Lopez in the sixth and final season of Netflix’s Lucifer, will play Kip Parsons, a talented computer nerd who is rejected by an online dating service as “unmatchable.” After her online blog about her humiliating status goes viral, Kip quickly becomes the reluctant spokesperson for all the frustrated singles out there. There’s just one problem: the dating service swears they didn’t reject her and she becomes the target of a kangaroo court.
Production is slated to commence Spring 2021 in Texas.

With executive producer Patton Oswalt starring as the constantly foiled Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing, the adult-centric comedy is set to debut this year on the Disney-controlled streamer.
She joins a list of newcomers to the animated series that includes Sam Richardson, Wendi McLendon-Coveyand Ben Schwartz.

The 39-year-old Mexican American actor will star in El Chicano, the indie film directed by Ben Bray (Supergirl) from a script he co-wrote with Joe Carnahan (Smokin’ Aces).
It’s described as a dark, urban-inspired superhero movie, detailing the crime-fighting exploits of the mysterious barrio vigilante known as “El Chicano.”
The film also stars Lucifer star Aimee Garcia, George Lopez and Kate Del Castillo.
David Castaneda, Noel G, JosePablo Cantillo, Marco Rodriguez, Sal Lopez, and Mr. Criminal are also among the cast of the film, which is currently in production.

The 46-year-old part Spanish-American actress and former Buffy The Vampire Slayer star is set to star in the sci-fi family drama Mail Order Monster, from director Paulina Lagudi and Jax Productions.
The film stars Madison Horcher as 12-year-old Sam Pepper, who lost her mother in a car accident, and her reclusive, quirky nature makes her an easy target for bullying. Realizing she’d had enough, Sam orders the parts to build a “Monster” from a comic book ad, and is finally able to get back at the bully. When Sam discovers her father Roy (Josh Hopkins) proposed to his girlfriend Sydney (Carpenter), she relies on her monster to keep her from getting a new mom.
Lagudi and Marc Prey co-wrote the film, which will go before cameras next month in Kentucky.
Carpenter, who starred on Angel, recently appeared inCriminal Minds: Beyond Borders and Lucifer.
Fox has renewed its freshman drama series Star, starring the 53-year-old half-Peruvian American, for a second season.
The music-centric series was co-created by Lee Daniels, the co-creator of Fox’s hit series Empire, as well as Tom Donaghy.
It follows three talented singers – running from their pasts and desperate for a new start – with ambitions of stardom, as they navigate the cutthroat music business. The Season 1 finale airs March 15 before Empire returns to the Wednesday 9 PM time period. Guest stars set to appear on Star over the next four weeks include Naomi Campbell, Big Boi, Rickey Smiley, Missy Elliott and Paris Jackson.
“Lee Daniels is a true visionary, and he and Tom Donaghy have delivered a series with a unique and meaningful point of view,” Fox Entertainment president David Madden said.
Launching behind the fall finale of Empire, Star hasn’t been a breakout hit like the soapy hip-hop family drama. But it has had a stable audience, averaging a Live+Same Day rating between 1.2 and 1.3 in adults 18-49 for the past five weeks, rising to about 1.9 in Live+7. Its L7 average of 2.1 demo rating is below Lethal Weapon (2.5) and above Lucifer (1.9), both of which were recently renewed, along with Fox flagship Empire.
Star, whose cast includes Bratt, who plays talent manager Jahil Rivera, Queen Latifah, Jude Demorest, Brittany O’Grady, Ryan Destiny, Amiyah Scott and Quincy Brown, averages 7.5 million multi-platform audience, according to Fox.

Montana, best known for his work on USA Network‘s Graceland, will play Marcos Villa, brother of Detective Annalise Villa, who just finished his third tour in the Army. He’s recently returned to Miami but we have yet to find out exactly why he’s there.
Montana, who’s currently a series regular on ABC’s legal dramaConviction, has also appeared on Lucifer, The Following, Power and Grimm.
