J Balvin is heading under the sea for a special anniversary…

SpongeBob SquarePants continues to celebrate his 20th anniversary and this time, the aquatic animated character is teaming up with the 34-year-old Colombian reggaeton star.

This week, J Balvin shared a very short clip teasing fans about his upcoming collaboration with the cartoon. 

The Instagram caption simply stated “coming soon” with a rainbow and ocean wave emoji. SpongeBob, Nickelodeon, visual artist and designer Louis De Guzman and J Balvin’s accounts were all tagged. 

Billboardcan confirm that the forthcoming project will feature art, apparel and home goods. 

“In honor of SpongeBob SquarePants‘ 20th anniversary, Chicago-based visual artist and designer Louis De Guzman joins forces with music superstar and fashion/Pop Art connoisseur J Balvin for a special collaboration of art, apparel, and home goods celebrating the iconic figure’s impact on pop culture over the last two decades,” says a representative for J Balvin.
