The Regional Mexican group opens at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart with Ojos En Blanco.
The album sold 5,000 copies in its first week, according to Nielsen.
The renowned group, which has gone through multiple incarnations since the 1960s, scores its third chart-topping album since becoming fronted by Rene Camacho in 2003.
The set’s lead single, “Lo Hiciste Otra Vez,” hops 24-20 on the Hot Latin Songs chart in its 10th week, where it has thus far peaked at No. 18 (chart date Jan. 31).
