Mana to Headline This Year’s BottleRock Napa Valley Festival

Mana is preparing to (bottle)rock in Napa Valley.

The legendary Mexican Grammy– and Latin Grammy-winning pop-rock will headline this year’s BottleRock Napa Valley, alongside the likes of Pearl Jam, Ed Sheeran and Stevie Nicks.

ManaThe Northern California music and culinary festival will take place May 24-26.

But they aren’t the only Latinx act set to perform…

The BottleRock announcement traditionally serves as a talent preview of what’s ahead for festival bookings.

Co-owned and operated by Live Nation and Napa Vally’s Lattitude 38, the festival has enjoyed tremendous success since it was taken over in 2014 by Lattitude 38 partners David Graham, Justin Dragoo and Jason Scoggins. Napa’s food and wine scene has always been key to the DNA of the festival, but musically, finding BottleRock’s sweet spot has long been a passion of Graham and talent buyer Tom Hoppa.

Graham often relies on outside advice and suggestions from his partners at Live Nation and spends a lot of time speaking with managers to better understand the artists’ own vision for their career. The result is a lineup highlighting a variety of genres and acts at different points in their career.

BottleRock will take place in the heart of the City of Napa at the Napa Valley Expo on May 24-26, 2024.

Three-day general admission tickets begin at $456 per person — all in pricing — and go on sale at 10am Pacific on Tuesday, January 9 on their website.

Karol G Releases New Album “Mañana Será Bonito (Bichota Season)”

Karol G is celebrating a new season

The 32-year-old Colombian superstar released her new album Mañana Será Bonito (Bichota Season) on Friday, August 11, coinciding with her first-ever U.S. stadium tour, which kicked off Thursday in Las Vegas.

Karol GIt features 10 brand new songs, including collaborations with Kali Uchis, Young Miko, Dei V and Peso Pluma.

It follows Karol G’s history-making Mañana Será Bonito, released in February, which became the first all-Spanish album by a female artist to top the Billboard 200.

Bichota Season also includes the EDM-fused trap song “S91,” Karol’s latest single — produced by her longtime producer Ovy on the Drums — that was inspired by the Psalm 91 Bible verse, and is about overcoming adversity. The song debuted and peaked at No. 10 on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart.

The release of Mañana Será Bonito (Bichota Season) coincides with the “Provenza” singer’s stadium tour, which kicked off Aug. 10 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. The 15-date trek, presented by Live Nation, will also visit Pasadena, Miami, Houston and Dallas and before wrapping up September 28 at the Gillette Stadium in Boston.

On August 3, Karol G made history when she became the first Latina to headline Lollapalooza in Chicago. She’s no stranger to making history on the stage. Last year, she made her Coachella debut on the main stage and also wrapped up 2022 with a record-breaking arena tour. After grossing $69.9 million and selling 410,000 tickets across 33 shows in North America, her $trip Love Tour became the highest grossing U.S. tour by a female Latin act in history.

Karol G Announces Plans to Release Mañana Será Bonito (Bichota Season) Album in August

Karol G is embracing her bichota season..

The 32-year-old Colombian superstar has announced plans to release an upcoming album, Mañana Será Bonito (Bichota Season) in August.

Karol GKarol G surprised fans with the announcement in a nearly 30-second teaser in which she is seen drawing the album cover with grains of pink and black sand as she sensually models her long pastel pink hair and black, two-piece bikini.

“Bichota Season,” says a high-pitched voice at the ending of the clip that’s backed by strong hip-hop beats.

In the caption on Instagram, Karol G shared: “…this tour would not be the same without the end of this story.” Bichota Season will be released on August 11 and can already be pre-saved here.

The set will also be released on the launch of the “Provenza” singer’s Mañana Será Bonito stadium tour, kicking off at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

The 15-date trek, presented by Live Nation, will also visit Pasadena, Miami, Houston and Dallas and before wrapping up Sept. 28 at the Gillette Stadium in Boston.

The announcement also comes on the heels of Karol G’s latest single “S91,” an emotional and ultra-personal, EDM-trap fusion—produced by Ovy on the Drums—that was inspired by the popular Psalm 91 Bible verse and is about overcoming adversity.

It was at the ending of its music video, directed by Pedro Artola and produced by WeOwnTheCity, where Karol is seen running away from a group of people backed by a pack of wolves trying to bring her down that she revealed “Bichota Season” was coming soon.

“S91” debuted at No. 10 on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart and is a separate song from Karol’s history-making Mañana Será Bonito. The 17-songs set, home to collaborations with Romeo Santos, Quevedo, Sech, Carla Morrison and more, became the first all Spanish-language LP by a female artist to top the Billboard 200 albums chart.

Bad Bunny’s Collaboration with Travis Scott & The Weeknd to Be Released This Week

Great Scott! Bad Bunny is releasing new music with two fellow music superstars this week.

Travis Scott has taken to Instagram to tease a new collaboration with the 29-year-old Puerto Rican Grammy-winning superstar and The Weeknd.

Bad BunnyThe star-studded single is seemingly titled “Lollipop,” as the rapper shared the cover art featuring a single red lollipop and captioned the post with three lollipop emojis. “Flame Abe Benito,” Scott wrote, adding that the song will be available on Thursday night (July 20).

Travis Scott is currently gearing up to launch Utopia, his first studio album in nearly five years, on July 28.

The project serves as the follow-up to Astroworld, Scott’s third studio album, which debuted atop the Billboard 200 and spawned several Billboard Hot 100 hits such as “Sicko Mode” (No. 1), “Stargazing” (No. 8) and “Carousel” (No. 24).

Last week, Travis Scott announced a livestream event celebrating the album launch, which will take place on release day at Pyramids of Giza in Egypt.

After reports that Egyptian government officials canceled the event due to The Egyptian Syndicate of Musical Professions allegedly having concerns about ensuring “the safety and protection of the audience,” Live Nation assured that the livestream event is still set to go as planned.

“There have been no changes to Travis Scott’s show in Egypt; any reports to the contrary are false. We can’t wait to celebrate Utopia with you in Egypt,” the company shared in a statement to Billboard.

Peso Pluma to Drop New Album “Genesis” in Late June

Peso Pluma is returning with new music this month…

The 24-year-old Mexican singer/songwriter will drop his new album, Genesis, on June 22, the Regional Mexican star has announced.

Peso PlumaThe “Por Las Noches” singer also unveiled the set’s star-studded tracklist with songs featuring some of his go-to collaborators such as Natanael Cano, Junior H, Luis R Conriquez and Jasiel Nuñez.

While it’s not his debut album — the Guadalajara-born artist released Ah Y Qué? in 2020 and a year later Efectos Secundarios — it feels like a momentous LP given the winning streak that has catapulted him to the top of the charts in the last few months.

Rapidly becoming a household name in the U.S. and beyond, Peso has now become the first artist to dominate both the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global 200 Excl. The song scored the Mexican singer his ninth top 10 song on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart. Elsewhere, “BZRP Music Sessions, Vol. 55” makes its No. 31 debut on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100 ranking dated June 17.
