Miguel Sandoval to Star in Apple’s Private Detective Series “Sugar”

Miguel Sandoval has landed a sweet role…

The 70-year-old Latino actir will star in Apple’s Colin Farrell-led series Sugar.

Miguel SandovalSandoval is among a bevy of new cast additions that includes Nate Corddry, Sydney Chandler, Elizabeth Anweis and Jason Butler Harner.

The L.A.-set contemporary take on a private detective story also stars Kirby Howell-Baptiste, Amy Ryan, Anna Gunn, James Cromwell, Dennis Boutsikaris, Alex Hernandez and Lindsay Pulsipher.

It was created by Mark Protosevich with Fernando Meirelles directing.

The project hails from Apple Studios.

Last year, the streamer won a heated auction for the project, beating out Netflix.

Sugar marks the second collaboration for Kinberg’s Genre Films and Apple TV+ and will stream alongside the global hit series Invasion, which recently received a second-season renewal.

Sandoval’s previous credits include Sharp Objects, Barry and Medium.

Cameron Diaz to Appear as Guest Judge on Season 7 of Paramount+’s “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars”

Cameron Diaz is preparing for an all-star moment…

Paramount+ has released the trailer for the latest installment of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars, which will feature the 49-year-old half-Cuban American actress as a guest judge.

Cameron DiazIn addition to Diaz, other guests set to appear in Season 7 include Nancy Pelosi, Naomi Campbell and Ronan Farrow.

During the Drag Race Season 14 Grand Finale on Friday, Paramount+ shared a teaser for the upcoming All Stars season, which will feature an all-winners lineup of contestants.

Diaz and Farrow will serve as guest judges during the season alongside Daphne Guinness, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, Jeffrey Bowyer–Chapman, Nikki Glaser, Tove Lo, Betsey Johnson, Janicza Bravo, Ben Platt and Hannah Einbinder.

United States House Speaker Pelosi and fashion icon Campbell will make special guest appearances throughout the season, as will Wheel of Fortune’s Vanna White.

For RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars Season 7, former winners compete for the title of “Queen of All Queens” and a cash prize of $200,000.

All Stars will begin streaming on Paramount+ on May 20.

As previously announced, the eight former winners returning to compete include Jaida Essence Hall, Jinkx Monsoon, Monét X Change, Raja, Shea Couleé, Trinity The Tuck, The Vivienne, and Yvie Oddly.
