Rosalia is in a swearing mood…
The 26-year-old Spanish singer and Best New Artist Grammy nominee, has released a new single “Juro Que,” which features a return to a more traditional flamenco sound.
On the track, which translates to “I swear that,” Rosalia projects the feelings of a person who has lost the love of her life because he was arrested and taken from her side. She’ll do whatever takes to be next to him again.
The song premiered alongside a music video directed by Tanu Muino; the clip is the perfect dramatization of loneliness, despair and the helplessness of not being able to solve a problem.
Rosalía is up for two Grammys: she’s nominated for best Latin rock, urban or alternative album, as well as best new artist.
She’ll perform at the awards show as well.
