Rigo Sanchez to Appear on Season 4 of Netflix’s “Outer Banks”

Rigo Sanchez is headed to the Outer Banks…

The Latino actor has joined the cast for the fourth season of Netflix’s Outer Banks, which has been a breakout show for the streamer over its past three seasons.

Created by Jonas Pate, Josh Pate and Shannon BurkeOuter Banks is a coming-of-age story that follows a tight-knit group of local teens — the “Pogues” — in the beach vacation destination of the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

Sanchez will portray an imposing stranger with a piratical nerve.

The young adult action-adventure drama stars Chase Stokes, Madelyn Cline, Madison Bailey, Jonathan Daviss and Rudy Pankow and follows a group called The Pogues in a coastal town in North Carolina where the wealth divide is stark.

Sanchez’s previous credits include appearances on Animal Kingdom, Station 19, Goliath, McFarland, USA and Queen of the South.

Fiona Palomo to Appear on Season 3 of Netflix’s Series “Outer Banks”

The 23-year-old Mexican actress has joined the cast of Netflix’s Outer Banks for the series’ third season.

Palomo will play Sofia, who identifies as a Pogue, but secretly yearns to be a part of the country club crowd. Likable and scrappy, she starts to form a close connection with Rafe (Drew Starkey).

McQueen will play Carlos Singh, a Caribbean Don who is intelligent, refined, and ruthless, and is out on a treasure hunt of his own.

Ferrigno will play Ryan. Calm and collected but young and hungry, he is Singh’s top security officer and enforcer. He’s done enough jobs to keep a cool head but also knows what could happen if he fails.

Outer Banks is a coming-of-age story that follows a tight-knit group of local teens (the “Pogues”) in the beach vacation destination of the Outer Banks of North Carolina. After their near-death escape, Season 2 finds John B (Chase Stokes) and Sarah (Madelyn Cline) on the run — and in over their heads — in the Bahamas.

New friends also bring new foes as they’re back on the trail of the gold, while the stakes for Kiara (Madison Bailey), Pope (Jonathan Daviss) and JJ (Rudy Pankow) escalate at home. The $400 million is still in the game, but will the uncovering of a new-found secret reunite the group for a fresh mission? The adventure of a lifetime awaits, but uncharted waters ahead mean they must do all they can to make it out alive.

Previously announced returning talent also includes Austin North, Charles Esten and Carlacia Grant who has been upped to series regular for Season 3.

The series is created by Jonas Pate, Josh Pate and Shannon Burke, who will all return as showrunners and executive producers.

Canto to Star in ABC’s Fall Drama Series “Blood and Oil”

There will be blood for Adan Canto.

The 33-year-old Mexican actor has been added to the cast of ABC‘s upcoming drama Blood and Oil as a series regular, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Written by Josh Pate and Rodes Fishburne, the drama series follows Billy (Chase Crawford) and Cody Lefever (Rebecca Rittenhouse) who dream of a new life beyond their working-class roots and move to The Bakken in North Dakota, booming after the biggest oil discovery in American history. They’re soon pitted against a ruthless tycoon who forces them to bet big and put everything on the line, including their marriage.

Canto will portray AJ Menendez, taking over the role previously played by Yani Gellman in the pilot. The character is a geologist who has been hired to work with Briggs Oil and advise Hap Briggs (Don Johnson) on the Bakken Oil play. He’ll also help Hap around the ranch and eventually develops a romantic relationship with his daughter, Carla (Amber Valletta).

The cast also includes Delroy LindoScott Michael Foster and India De Beaufort, among others.

Blood and Oil, set to premiere on Sunday, September 27 at 9:00 pm, is produced by ABC Signature.

The casting brings Canto back into the ABC fold following his starring turn on the short-lived comedy series Mixology.

He most recently filmed NBC pilot The Curse of the Fuentes Women, which did not move forward. His credits include Fox‘s The Following and the feature film X-Men: Days of Future Past.
