Jennifer Lopez Returning to Host This Year’s American Music Awards 

Jennifer Lopez is preparing for double duty… 

The 55-year-old Puerto Rican actress, singer and dancer will return to host the American Music Awards next month, performing on the awards show as well.

This marks Lopez’s second time hosting the awards ceremony, a role she first took on in 2015.

“We are thrilled to welcome Jennifer Lopez back to host the American Music Awards,” said Jay Penske, CEO, Dick Clark Productions. “Jennifer’s incredible talent and incomparable stage presence make her the ideal host of the show. We know she will bring her one-of-a-kind energy to the official kick off celebration of summer.”

Lopez teased her return to hosting on last fall’s American Music Awards 50th Anniversary Special on CBS.

She has performed on the awards show more than 10 times.

J.Lo is a three-time AMA winner, with more than 80 million records sold, 15 billion global streams, and more than 18 billion music video views.

Created by producer Dick Clark, the AMAs were first awarded in 1974. The 2025 AMAs will broadcast globally across linear and digital platforms.

The AMAs are produced by Dick Clark Productions, which is owned by Penske Media Eldridge, a subsidiary of Penske Media Corp and a joint venture between PMC and Eldridge.

Thorne Receives Special Prize at the 2014 Young Hollywood Awards

Bella Thorne is Young Hollywood royalty…

The 16-year-old half-Cuban American actress and former Disney Channel star picked up a special award at the 2014 Young Hollywood Awards.

Thorne received the You’re So Fancy award at the annual awards event, which was held at The Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles and hosted by Kelly Osbourne.

Jay Penske, founder, chairman and CEO of Penske Media Corp., which produced the 2014 YHA, previously said of the event, “We’re thrilled to see the Young Hollywood Awards, now in its 16th year, continue to ascend to its biggest show ever.
