Amaury Nolasco is ready to make the killing…
The 53-year-old Puerto Rican actor and producer will star in the feature thriller Killing of a Nation, about political unrest and crime in Haiti.
The former Prison Break star will appear alongside lead Aml Ameen, Jimmy Jean-Louis, Aïssa Maïga, O-T Fagbenle, Ayoola Ayolola, Jairo Ordoñez, Grainger Hines and Grace Van Dien.
Ameen plays Anderson Toussaint, a young American lobbyist for an investment fund in Haiti who becomes entangled in a web of corruption and power struggles after gaining access to President Jovenel Moise’s inner circle. The country’s political woes ultimately lead to the shocking assassination of Moïse and the country descends further into chaos.
Filming wrapped last month in Panama on the under-the-radar English-language project from director Carlos Bolado and writer Jimena Gallardo. Olga Segura is producing with Harold Sánchez.
Nolasco, who is currently appearing on Apple TV+’s Land of Women, previously starred in the film The Valet, South of Heaven and Edge of Fear.
