Pitbull Announces Las Vegas Residency for 2024-2025

Pitbull is taking over Sin City…

The 43-year-old Cuban American rap superstar will bring his Miami swagger to Las Vegas for a new musical residency.

PitbullThe Pitbull: Vegas After Dark the Residency will debut on November 8 at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas, where Pitbull will take the stage at the BleauLive Theater for a series of eight weekend concerts between the end of this year and the beginning of the next.

The dates are November 8-9, January 24-25, and March 7, 8, 14 and 15.

Tickets go on presale on Tuesday (September 24) and to the general public the next day at 9:00 am PT/12:00 pm ET on the Fontainebleau website.

“Fontainebleau’s legacy of top-tier entertainment stems from its Miami Beach roots,” said Fontainebleau Las Vegas Senior Vice President of Entertainment, Fedor Banuchi, in a press release. “We are honored to have Mr. 305 himself bring his Miami flair to BleauLive Theater for this iconic limited engagement.”

Pitbull is in the midst of his Party After Dark Tour, a 26-city trek that began on August 21 in Virginia and ends on October 5 in Albuquerque, NM.

His new show in Las Vegas will include “state-of-the-art visuals, pyrotechnics,” and a repertoire of hits such as “Give Me Everything,” “Timber,” “Time of Our Lives,” “International Love,” “Feel This Moment,” “Fireball” and “Hey Baby (Drop It to the Floor).”

“Backed by his incredible band, The Agents, and his dynamic dancers, The Most Bad Ones, the fusion of music, lights and special effects will create a sophisticated, high-energy party for everyone in attendance,” according to the press release.

Pitbull, who frequently performs in Las Vegas, opened a SLAM charter school in Nevada in 2016, expanding his commitment to education that began with the first SLAM school in Miami. According to the release, the schools — whose name is an acronym for Sports, Leadership, Arts and Management — now serve nearly 10,000 students in various states.

The artist’s last residency in Sin City was Time of Our Lives, which opened at The AXIS on September 23, 2015, and closed on May 25, 2019.

Pitbull & Ke$ha’s “Timber” Reaches No. 1 on Billboard Dance Chart

Pitbull and Ke$ha haven’t been able to dethrone Eminem and Rihanna on the Billboard Hot 100 chart… But they still have plenty of reason to dance.

The 32-year-old Cuban American singer and Ke$ha’s high octane collaboration “Timber” has reached the No. 1 spot on this week’s Billboard’s Hot Dance Club Songs chart, which will be released on Thursday.

The track, which duo wrote and recorded during their North American tour last May and June, was released on October 7, 2013 as the lead single from Pitbull’s second EP, Meltdown.

“Timber” has topped the charts in 10 countries including Sweden, Canada, Norway, Scotland, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Austria and Germany and has peaked at No. 1 on the Hot 100. And the catchy song’s official music video, complete with donkeys, roosters and sexy line dancers, has registered more than 54.5 million views on VEVO.

His other dance hits include his three collaborations with Jennifer Lopez, “On The Floor,” “Dance Again” and “Live It Up.” His other No. 1 dance songs include “International Love” with Chris Brown and the remix to Enrique Iglesias’ “I Like How It Feels.”

Meanwhile, Pitbull’s collaboration with Christina Aguilera “Feel This Moment” peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Dance/Electronic Songs chart.

Pitbull to Perform at the MTV European Music Awards

Pitbull will bring global warming music to this year’s MTV European Music Awards show in Frankfurt next month.

The 31-year-old Cuban American rap superstar, who will be releasing his latest album Global Warming in November, has signed on to perform along three other high-profile late additions to the lineup, including Alicia Keys, The Killers and YouTube sensation PSY.

The lineup for the night already includes previously announced acts Taylor Swift, Muse, No Doubt, Carly Rae Jepsen, fun. and Rita Ora.

Pitbull is nominated for two EMAs – one for best male performer and one for best song for “International Love” featuring Chris Brown.

No word on what music Pitbull will perform at the awards show, which will take place on Sunday, November 11 at the historic Festhalle Frankfurt arena.

Pitbull has picked up two MTV Europe Music Awards nominations—the only Latino artist to earn any nods this year.

The 31-year-old Cuban American rap superstar is nominated in the Best Male category, where he’s competing against Justin Bieber, Kanye West, Jay Z and Flo Rida.

Meanwhile, Pitbull’s dancetastic collaboration with Chris BrownInternational Love” is up for Best Song. The other contenders include Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe,” Rihanna’s “We Found Love” featuring Calvin Harris, Goyte’s “Somebody That I Used to Know” and fun.’s “We Are Young” featuring Janelle Monáe.

The nominations bring Pitbull’s MTV EMA nod count to three. He was previously nominated for Best Hip Hop Artist last year, the same year that saw Selena Gomez serve as the show’s hostess.

MTV has yet to announce this year’s MTV EMA Awards host, performers and presenters.

The MTV EMAs will take place on Sunday, November 11 at the historic Festhalle Frankfurt arena in Germany, and will be broadcast on MTV channels around the world at 9 p.m. central European time.

Pitbull has released the music video for his latest single “Get It Started,” his hip-shaking collaboration with Shakira.

The James Bond-inspired clip starts off with shots of the 31-year-old Cuban American rapper sitting on a sofa, but  switch to him getting his spy on during a mission to save a sexy brunette her from a baddie.

In addition, the high-octane video features some action-packed scenes as Pitbull gets involved in a dangerous car chase to save his girl.

Shakira, who doesn’t share any scenes with Pitbull, is featured throughout the clip. The 35-year-old Colombian singer looks flawless in a sequined gold dress while singing alone on a balcony.

The video culminates with scenes from a Pitbull concert, which is packed the ladies. Fireworks burst in the night sky as the concertgoers dance along.

The video was directed by David Russo, who helmed some of Pitbull’s other videos, including “Give Me Everything“, “Back in Time” and “International Love.

“Get It Started” is the lead single of Pitbull’s seventh studio album “Global Warming,” which will be released in the United States on September 28.

Levy Receives a Standing Ovation Following His DWTS Performance

William Levy may not have received the highest scores during last night’s Dancing With The Stars premiere… But the heartthrob did manage to get the biggest cheers!

Following his performance of the cha-cha to a cover of Pitbull’s “International Love” with partner Cheryl Burke , the 31-year-old Cuban-born telenovela star and model received a lengthy standing ovation and hysterical screams from the audience.

Levy, known as the “Latin Brad Pitt,” nabbed the second-best score of the night, receiving 24 points out of a total 30. And he even got some high praise from the judges.

Bruno Tonioli called him “the hottest package of the season.” Said a fawning Carrie Ann Inaba: “I’d like to thank ABC for my job. … You can dance. … I really like the way you move.” Len Goodman praised his control, saying “Well done.”

Said Levy of the chaos in the audience: “I appreciate the love.”

Sharing the premiere’s top score of 26 were two celebrities were former child star and Family Matters actor Jaleel White (a.k.a. Urkel) and British opera singing sensation Katherine Jenkins.

The night’s lowest scores belonged to Gavin DeGraw, Melissa Gilbert and Martina Navratilova, who all grabbed just 20 points.
