Selena Gomez & Marshmello’s Single “Wolves” Reaches No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs Chart

Selena Gomez is having a dancetastic week…

The 25-year-old Mexican American singer/actress’ collaboration with Marshmello, “Wolves,” rises 7-1 on BillboardHot Dance/Electronic Songs chart dated November 18, following its first full tracking week.

Selena Gomez

The song debuted a week ago with a day’s worth of streaming and sales data.

Gomez, Billboard‘s 2017 Woman of the Year honoree, earns her second No. 1 and first as a lead act, after “I Want You to Know” (by Zedd featuring Gomez), which spent six weeks at No. 1 in March and April 2015. “Wolves” is Marshmello’s first leader on the list.

“Wolves” reigns with 13 million U.S. streams, 8 million in all-format radio audience and 28,000 downloads sold, according to Nielsen Music.

It holds at No. 1 on the Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales chart and soars 13-2 on the Dance/Electronic Streaming Songs chart, behind Marshmello’s “Silence” (featuring Khalid) in the latter’s 10th week at the top.

On the all-genre Billboard Hot 100, “Wolves” vaults 88-35. Gomez earns her 19th top 40 Hot 100 hit, and 14th in a row, dating to “Love You Like a Love Song” (by Gomez and The Scene), which hit No. 22 in March 2012. She’s notched four top 40 entries apiece in both 2016 and 2017.

Meanwhile, a toast to Marshmello, who celebrates his first top 40 Hot 100 hit. He previously hit a No. 42 high with “Silence,” which remains near its peak this week, at No. 50.

Gomez’s Collaboration with Kygo “It Ain’t Me” Rises Up Billboard’s Dance Charts

Selena Gomez is dancing her way up the charts…

The 24-year-old Mexican American actress and singer’s collaboration with Kygo, “It Ain’t Me,” rises imto No. 9 Billboard‘s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart (dated March 4 has reached No. 9 on the charts.

Selena Gomez

“It Ain’t Me” (crediting both Kygo and Gomez as leads) is the second top 10 debut for both acts. Kygo’s “Stay,” featuring Maty Noyes, started at No. 8 in December 2015, while “I Want You to Know” (by Zedd featuring Gomez) made a No. 9 entry in March 2015. The new track is the third overall top 10 for Kygo and the second for Gomez.

Following its February 16 release, “It Ain’ Met” sold 19,000 downloads in the week ending that day, according to Nielsen Music, also good for a No. 4 start on Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales. That sum plus 1.7 million U.S. streams and 14 million radio airplay audience impressions (through Febriury 19) all contribute to the track’s high Hot Dance/Electronic Songs debut. Following a full first week of tracking, ” It Ain’t Me ” should make a notable advance on the March 11-dated list, as well as jump from its No. 93 debut on the Billboard Hot 100.

Gomez Releases Sultry Video for Her New Single “Good For You”

It’s looking good for Selena Gomez

The 22-year-old half-Mexican American singer/actress has released the music video for her new single “Good For You,” her collaboration with A$AP Rocky.

Selena Gomez

In this “stripped down version of the song,” which Gomez shared with her Twitter followers, the New York rapper — or anyone else other than the former Disney Channel star is present.

Gomez appears lying around in various positions, seemingly waiting for her special someone, as she coos “Make you never wanna leave/So don’t… so don’t.”

Later, Gomez appears in the shower, then a warehouse where she towers over the camera, and then to a few other sequences where Gomez writhes around.

The “Good For You” video, directed by Sophie Muller, has already garnered 9.4 million views on Vevo.

“Good For You” was released last week, and is the debut single for Gomez’s follow-up album to 2013’s Stars Dance.

In February, Gomez’s Zedd collaboration “I Want You To Know” was released, and the single became a Top 20 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Gomez Teases New Music Video with Sultry Shower Image

Selena Gomez may be baring it all in her next music video…

The 22-year-old half-Mexican American singer/actress took to Instagram on Monday to share a steamy photo that many fans assume was snapped while Gomez was filming the video.

Selena Gomez

The photo shows the former Disney Channel star posing naked under pouring water in a dimly lit shower.

“Ready.. #itscomingsoon,” Gomez wrote in the caption.

There’s still no official word if the picture is indeed a preview of her music video.

Gomez is currently working hard on her next studio album, which will mark her first since leaving Disney-owned Hollywood Records and joining Interscope. Her manager Aleen Keshishian recently promised that the first offering from the follow-up to 2013’s Stars Dance would arrive “soon,” so that Selenators “will have a good summer!”

Earlier this year, Gomez teamed up with Zedd for “I Want You to Know from the DJ’s True Colors album and appeared as BFF Taylor Swift‘s nemesis in the star-studded “Bad Blood” music video.

Gomez & Zedd Release the Official Music Video for “I Want You to Know”

Selena Gomez wants you to know she’s living the life…

The 22-year-old half-Mexican American singer/actress and Zedd have released the official music video for their new dancetastic single “I Want You to Know.”

Selena Gomez

Gomez and Zedd, who are rumored to be dating, share little screen time in clip.

Instead, the former Wizards of Waverly Place actress is the clear star of the clip, dancing under strobe lights in three different body-hugging outfits surrounded by fellow club kids.

Zedd makes infrequent appearances — sitting against the wall watching Gomez dance or appearing with her face-to-face in trippy, second-long flashes.
