Jessica Alba’s latest project may be heading to U.S. movie theaters in the near future…
Saban Films is in talks to acquire the U.S. distribution rights to How to Make Love Like an Englishman, starring the 33-year-old half-Mexican American actress, Salma Hayek and Pierce Brosnan.
The film centers on a Cambridge University professor (Brosnan) who meets his match in Hayek’s character and reevaluates his hedonistic lifestyle when he gets her graduate student stepsister (portrayed by Alba) pregnant.
Tom Vaughan (What Happens in Vegas) directed the film, and screenwriter Matthew Newman is making his feature debut with the comedy.
“How to Make Love Like an Englishman boasts a brilliant ensemble cast with laugh-out-loud moments and a tremendous amount of heart. We’ve found the perfect comedy to diversify the Saban Films slate,” said Saban president Bill Bromiley in a statement.
