Horatio Sanz Reunites with Former SNL Castmates for “I Wish It Was Christmas Today” Performance on “The Tonight Show”

Horatio Sanz is spreading holiday cheer…

The 49-year-old Chilean-American actor and comedian reunited with his former Saturday Night Live cast mates Jimmy Fallon, Tracy Morgan and Chris Kattan for an encore performance of their low-tech, yet festive tune “I Wish It Was Christmas Today” on The Tonight Show, alongside pop diva Ariana Grande.

Donning holiday sweaters in a makeshift Winter Wonderland, it was as if the audience was transported to 2000 when the quartet performed the song for the first time on SNL

With Sanz on lead vocals and Fallon on keys and backup, they awkwardly jammed out with Kattan and Morgan who were basically just there for low-impact dancing.

Grande was also there but in a moral support capacity. All she did was stand behind Kattan as he carried out his duties as designated keyboard holder.

She bounced with them and stared at the camera longingly as if she was taking a series of pouty Instagram selfies.

Trailer Released for Sanz’s Comedy “A Better You”

Horatio Sanz isn’t afraid to pull the “I don’t speak English” card… Well, at least the character he plays in his latest film.

The trailer has been released for Matt Walsh’s second directorial comedy A Better You, which features the 45-year-old Chilean actor and former Saturday Night Live cast member.

Sanz appears as Hugo in the film, which follows Dr. Ron (Brian Huskey), a Hollywood quack hypnotherapist.

The only thing worse than Dr. Ron’s methods are his disrespectful patients who loiter around the neighborhood as seen in this clip.

The film, which was co-written by Huskey and Walsh, made its world premiere at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival.

Joe Lo Truglio, Erinn Hayes, Rob Huebel, Morgan Walsh, Natasha Leggero, Reid Scott and Mo Gaffney also star.

The project centers on McCormack’s character Hilary Pfeiffer-Dunne, a high-powered executive who faces the biggest challenge of her life when she finds herself unemployed and acting as a full-time mom to her two teenagers.

Sanz, best known as a cast member on NBC’s Saturday Night Live from 1998-2006, will play Hilary’s put-upon, wry-humored neighbor Jonathan, a stay-at-home dad of 2-year-old twin girls.

Sanz most recently starred alongside his former SNL castmate Chris Parnell in the Comedy Central series Big Lake.
