Stephanie Beatriz will bring a little magic to Freeform’s annual Halloween celebration…
Encanto, featuring the 42-year-old Colombian-Bolivian Argentine actress as the lead voice cast member, will premiere on Freeform as part of the network’s 31 Nights of Halloween programming event.
Now in its 25th year, Freeform’s popular Halloween campaign will see the return of fan favorite films such as Hocus Pocus, Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, Monsters, Inc., Cruella and The Addams Family.
Beatriz’s Encanto will premiere on Sunday, October 22 at 7:35 pm EDT/PDT.
Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Encanto tells the tale of an extraordinary family, the Madrigals, who live hidden in the mountains of Colombia, in a magical house, in a vibrant town, in a wondrous, charmed place called an Encanto. The magic of the Encanto has blessed every child in the family with a unique gift from super strength to the power to heal—every child except one, Mirabel (voice of Beatriz). But when she discovers that the magic surrounding the Encanto is in danger, Mirabel decides that she, the only ordinary Madrigal, might just be her exceptional family’s last hope.
Last year’s 31 Nights of Halloween, which runs from October 1-31, brought Freeform to the No. 1 ranking among primetime cable networks in entertainment across Adults 18-34, Women 18-34 and Women 18-49, excluding news and sports.
