CNCO Celebrates Class of 2020 with Virtual YouTube Performance of Hits

CNCO is celebrating the Class of 2020 in a special way…

The Latino boy band got graduates dancing at home with their party-ready medley of hits on Sunday night (June 7).

CNCO — Christopher, Erick, Zabiel, Richard and Joel — synchronized their own moves, in separate video frames, as they performed “Honey Boo,” “Hey DJ” and “Reggaetón Lento” remotely during the after party following the “Dear Class of 2020” YouTube Originals graduation ceremony.

Earlier in the evening, in the midst of the actual ceremony, they also popped in to teach this year’s grads how to say “Congratulations to the class of 2020” in Spanish.

The virtual graduation ceremony, which started with Lizzo‘s powerhouse flute performance and was chock-full of all-star commencement speeches from the likes of Barack and Michelle Obama, Beyoncé, BTS, Lady Gaga and more, was capped off with a class of 2020 after party with CNCO, Megan Thee Stallion and BTS.

CNCO is joining forces with two global stars for a hot new remix…

The Latino boy band has joined voiced with Meghan Trainor and Sean Paul for “Hey DJ,” a new version of CNCO’s fan-favorite hit from their second album.

The international trio of artists have even released a lyric video for the song.

A full music video starring all three acts is also on the way, and the boy band has shared a photo with Billboard from the music video set. The picture shows CNCO members Joel, Christopher, Erick, Richard and Zabdiel along with Sean Paul wearing smoking suits, while Trainor wears a white ensemble.

Two weeks ago, Trainor teased the song on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and CNCO announced it during a Latin American Music Awards red carpet interview with Billboard.

CNCO is back at the top…

The Latin American boyband scores its second No. 1 on Billboard’s Latin Airplay chart, as “Se Vuelve Loca” lifts 2-1 on the October 27-dated list.

“Se VuelveLoca ” also leads the Latin Rhythm Airplay list, climbing 2-1, and the Latin Pop Songs airplay tally, where it remains in the top spot for a second week.

“Having our song in the most important charts, Latin Airplay, Latin Pop Songs and Latin Rhythm at No. 1, is an achievement that we do not take for granted,” CNCO tells Billboard. “It’s amazing to see the song resonate with music fans across the world, sharing the message of love and joy. We are forever grateful and thankful to our dedicated fans, CNCOwners, for their constant support, and helping to elevate our music to the top of the charts and globally.”

“Se Vuelve Loca” logged 14.7 million in audience impressions (up 19 percent) in the week ending October 21, according to Nielsen Music. They notched their first No. 1 when “Tan Fácil,” their debut hit, darted 8-1 on the May 14, 2016-dated chart.

Out of their seven charted titles, two other songs have gone top 10: “Reggaeton Lento (Bailemos)” (No. 4) and “Hey DJ” (No. 9), both in 2017.

CNCO is back with a mother of a hit…

After landing on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart with “Hey DJ” featuring Yandel, the Latin boy band returns with “Mamita.”

CNCO teams with super producers Feid, El Rolo and Mosty on the quazi-slow jam, which will be included on the group’s forthcoming album, scheduled for release in 2018.

Earning multiple nominations at this year’s upcoming Latin American Music Awards in four categories (including favorite duo or group and album of the year), CNCO’s new single is available now on all digital music platforms.
