More people Shazamed Clean Bandit and the 26-year-old part-Mexican American​’s single “Solo” than any other song this year, according to year-end data from the music-identifying company, Shazam.

Nicky Jam and J Balvins “X” and Calvin Harris and Dua Lipa‘s “One Kiss” followed in the second and third rankings, respectively.

Meanwhile, Cardi B has two singled in the Top 10. The 26-year-old half-Dominican American rap superstar’s collaboration with Maroon 5, “Girls Like You,” comes in at No. 7. Her chart-topping single “I Like It,” featuring J Balvin and Bad Bunny comes in at No. 10.

Artist discovery on the platform was up 13.2 percent this year from last, with more than 2 million artists Shazamed in 2018.

J Balvin was the second most Shazamed artist of the year, behind Drake.

“Girls Like You” tops the Radio Songs chart for an 11th week, with 125.9 million in audience, down 2 percent, in the week ending October 7, according to Nielsen Music.

The track ties The Chainsmokers‘ “Closer,” featuring Halsey, in 2016, as the longest-leading Radio Songs No. 1 by a duo or group this century; it boasts the longest reign by a duo or group since TLC‘s “No Scrubs” led for 13 weeks in 1999.

“Girls Like You” has logged the longest run atop the chart by any act since Ed Sheeran‘s “Shape of You,” which spent 12 weeks at No. 1 in 2017 (and which interpolates “Scrubs“). (Goo Goo Dolls‘ “Iris” holds the longevity record atop Radio Songs among all acts, with 18 weeks at No. 1 in 1998.)

The 25-year-old half-Dominican rap sensation’s collaboration with Maroon 5, “Girls Like You,” has reached the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart dated September 29, after six weeks as the Lady in Waiting at No. 2.

The track dethrones Drake‘s “In My Feelings,” which led the list for 10 weeks.

“Girls Like You,” released on 222/Interscope Records and driven in part by the buzz of its female star-studded video, becomes the 1,078th No. 1 in the Hot 100’s 60-year history.

The track tops the Radio Songs chart for a ninth week with 127.6 million in audience impressions in the week ending September 23, up 2 percent, according to Nielsen Music.

Cardi B, already the only female rapper with two Hot 100 No. 1s, extends her record, as “Girls Like You” becomes her third. Her debut smash “Bodak Yellow (Money Moves)” led for three weeks beginning October 7, 2017, and “I Like It,” with Bad Bunny and J Balvin topped the July 7 chart.

“Girls Like You” was originally released by Maroon 5-only on the band’s 2017 album Red Pill Blues; Cardi B joined for its single remix.

Summer nay be drawing to a close, and most people couldn’t get enough of the 25-year-old half-Dominican American’s Cardi B’s “I Like It” featuring Bad Bunny and J Balvin.

YouTube has revealed its Top 10 Songs of the Summer lists in the U.S. and globally, naming the top songs that were most popular around the world during the hot weather months.

The songs are ranked by their global and U.S. views across YouTube between May 28, 2018, and August 25, 2018.

“I Like It” nabbed the No. 1 spot in the U.S., becoming the favorite song for many people living in states like Florida, California, Texas, New York and Nevada.

Meanwhile, the “Te Bote” remix with Casper, Nio Garcia, DarellNicky Jam, Bad Bunny and Ozuna, lands the No. 2 spot in the global list, following Maroon 5’s“Girls Like You” featuring Cardi B.

But the “I Like It” and “Te Bote” squads were not the only ones putting Latinos in the forefront this summer. In fact, five of the Top 10 Songs of the Summer on the global list belong to Latin artists.

Cardi B: The Leading Lady on Spotify’s “Songs of the Summer” Charts

Spotify has revealed its official Songs of the Summer chart, with the 25-year-old half-Dominican American rap sensation the leading lady on the U.S. and global charts.

Globally, the No.2 and No. 3 songs both featured Cardi B: Maroon 5’s ballad “Girls Like You” came in second with around 293 million streams, while her’s own “I Like It” (featuring J Balvin and Bad Bunny) came in a close third with more than 289 million streams.

In the U.S., Cardi B’s “I Like It” comes in at  No.4 on the chart, while her track with Maroon 5, “Girls Like You” comes in at No. 11.

Drake’s “In My Feelings” topped the list both globally and in the U.S., with more than 393 million streams between June 1 and August 20.

The list also includes “Solo” by Clean Bandit, featuring Demi Lovato, at No. 8, as well as Selena Gomez’s “Back to You” at No. 15.

Latin jam “Te Boté – Remix” has also emerged as a top summer track globally, led by newcomer Nio Garcia, a Puerto Rican dancer-turned-rapper. The track also features artists Casper Magico, Darrell, Ozuna, Bad Bunny and Nicky Jam.

Summer lists are often a telling predictor of the final year-end lists — and it’ll take a monster hit to steal 2018 from Drake and Cardi B.
